- There is a visit of guest faculty teachers from IIT Kanpur that makes the institute very good.
- Students can find a good company for an internship for which they have to pay.
- However, they were unable to establish a good placement cell and provide enough/good placements.
Dislikes
- Internship programmes are not available at our college. There is no culture for internships here. This makes our college the worst for such opportunities. Therefore, it is not advisable to rely on the college faculty for placement.
- Companies visit over here. The placement rate is 0% over here. Its a hell and waste of money at UIET Kanpur.
- Such help is available for students. If anyone wants help from the university, they only give dates. They dont provide support; instead, they used to talk in very poor language. Even the government gives scholarships, but last year the Uttar Pradesh government did not give scholarships.

College is quite good they took all the concepts from the IIT KANPUR
Many IIT KANPUR professors are also there to teach.
And the infrastructure is quite good.
You will have a good life there

Placement is neglible which makes for student difficult to get placed and the 75% attendexne criteria is not also very good.also, the faculty sometimes is not supportive which make it worse.One should opt for private inspire opting for this government college.as it is a autonomous college that only contribute to make it worse .

Don't take admission in this college it will make your life hell no sports .no game ,and also no information is provided about any thing. teacher are not helpful always try to show their attitude to the student.

placement is only for ec and cs students . i myself didnot got any placement for job so please if placement view is taken then really , this college ic not for you. but every year students are getting selected in iits from here.

1 Poor management exists in UIET Kanpur.2 Dr Brijendra Pratap Singh professor of Chemistry asked us that why did we came over here.No placements take place in UIET Kanpur.CSE and ECE faculty is very bad barring some professors.3 Dr BP Singh used to talk in a rude language in Chemistry classes 1st year.Good remarks is that Academics here is good.IIT text books are followed in UIET Kanpur.
