Hostels are 3 bedding accomodation. Rooms are spacious. There is bed, table and chair for all. Large almirahs are provided. Every room has a balcony. Toilets are fine and washing machines are available. Hostel mess is community kitchen run by students and faculty together. The food is not too good but fine. Most students prefer to live in rented rooms nearby. That is cheaper and no restrictions.

rooms are avaliable within 1 km of campus and hostels are also well for accommodation . Hostel Menu is very good and food quality is homelike . Also menu is also changed as per student's needs . Seperate food is also prepared if a student is ill for better recovery.

Here are only 3 hostel,1 for girls and 2 for boys.In each hostels, for 1st,2nd, 3rd year students here are 3 seater room in which u will get one bed,a chair n table,one almirah and from 7th semester onwards u will get two seater room.Food here is average. Mostly u will face problems for water supply. For registration for hostel u will simply fill up hostel residential form and u will get room on random basis at the starting.

So no issue with mess food . Registration process for hostel facility is also short and simple . You just have to fill a form then submit it and then pay the fees through online banking .

There are two boys hostels and one girl's hostel inside the college campus. The hostels are well equipped with WiFi and ethernet connection and there is one common room and a mess in each hostel. The wifi speed is around 100-150 MBPS and one can get his identity to login into that. There is a limit for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students but it is unlimited for 4th-year seniors. There are around 20-24 rooms on each floor and the buildings are 2 floored. The one boy's hostel is for 1st and 4th-year students and the other one is for 2nd and 3rd-year students. One-two security guards always remain at the gate. The food quality of the hostel mess is good as compared to other government colleges and the menu is different for different days. On Sundays, the Panner and Chicken are served to us. If one doesn't want to remain in the hostel he/she can have a room in the nearby village called Bagi or in New Tehri city, Barari. The rent of a PG is around 4000-5000 per month in sharing.

Hostel rooms are fine provided with 3 beds proper ventilation and electricity. But the hostel meals are not so good, it can be considered as average. You can say it is food which you can eat just to live. And also there is a major problem of water sometimes the water problem may last to 3 days The registration process of the hostel is simple not so complicated you just have to pay the fee and the room is allotted on the first come first serve basis.

Must say they are good and supportive, especially for the freshers. The meal is not good and they decide their own menu which never contains a variety food which all the students need. The registration process for the hostel will be done when you are taking admission to college. And nearly about 400-450 boys are living in hostels and nearly about 200 girls in girls hostels. Both boys and girls hostel are separated. You can easily afford the pg and the rooms in the locality but living in the hostel will be more beneficial in my view!

The views and surroundings of the boys' hostel are really very good. Surrounded by the mountains and a decent view of Tehri lake. The infrastructure is really very good as compared to other colleges. A single room is alloted to a minimum of three students and a maximum of four students. The room is really spacious with individual cupboards, a table and a chair along with a bed for every student. There are 10 washrooms and 8 bathrooms on every floor of the hostel which are good in structure. The college allows you a room in the hostel if you apply for it at the time of your reporting to the college after every year. The meals are like ok I must say you can not expect much from mess food. They provide you with 3 meals a day with snacks in the evening. The overall fees for the hostel including the mess are about 59000 per annum.
