Admission to Nitra Technical Campus is through the UPSEEE counselling portal for AKTU, based on UPSEEE rank and reservation policies. The faculty quality is generally satisfactory, especially in Engineering Mathematics and parts of the Textiles department. However, there is room for improvement in the Computer Science and Engineering faculty. The college has a competitive fee structure for the Delhi/NCR region, with the first semester costing Rs 51,000 (including a Rs 2,000 security fee and Rs 7,500 for AKTU exam fees) and the second semester at Rs 40,000.

Odd semesters thereafter cost Rs 49,000, and even semesters are Rs 40,000. The college facilitates interviews with notable companies, offering both on-campus and online opportunities, and includes a 6-month paid internship with Paramount Private Limited. As the academic wing of NITRA, the campus provides excellent resources for textile students, such as extensive textile machinery and a pilot plant, aiding in internship placements. However, CSE students have fewer facilities. Scholarships are available according to UP government rules, with a special Rs 24,000 scholarship for first-year textile students from the Textile Association of India, based on academic performance.
