The college achieves a high placement rate, with an average of 94% of students being placed each year. Over 300 companies visit annually, including major IT and MNCs like TCS, CTS, Wipro, Amazon, Foxconn, and Infosys, offering roles with salary packages ranging from INR 1.5 lakhs to 7 lakhs per annum.
Training for placements begins as early as the second year, focusing on various skills such as aptitude, reasoning, and technical knowledge. Internships are offered, although some students need to arrange their own. Stipends and fee concessions are available for eligible students, with specific stipends provided by companies such as Surya Solar Power and Sakthi Auto Parts.
However, there is a need for better alignment between student career aspirations and job roles offered, especially for mechanical engineering students.
