College of Engineering Kidangoor Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

At undergraduate level, College of Engineering, Kidangoor Kottayam offers B.Tech degree in multiple specializations. The college also accepts lateral entries in the B.Tech program. Minimum eligibility for admission in B.Tech is to pass 10+2 with PCM as subjects and a minimum aggregate of 50%. Selection to the B.Tech will be done through Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM) conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination of Govt. of Kerala whereas admission in the B.Tech lateral is done on the basis of marks scored in State level entrance test called LET conducted by the Joint Controller of Technical Examinations.

• The minimum marks requirement is 45% for candidates belonging to socially and educationally backward classes.

At the postgraduate level, College of Engineering, Kidangoor offers M.Tech degree in two specializations to the aspiring candidates. The intake capacity is 18 seats for each of the M.Tech specializations.

Candidates should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or CGPA of 6.5 in the Bachelor’s degree examination to be eligible for the M.Tech. Selection of candidates will be based on the GATE score.

• For SC/ST candidates a pass in the Engineering Degree course is sufficient.
• For SEBC (OBC) students, a minimum of 54% aggregate marks in the Engineering Degree examination is mandatory.
