College of Engineering Attingal B.Tech Admission 2024

College of Engineering Attingal Attingal offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and B.Tech Lateral under various specializations. The intake capacity for B.Tech program is 60 seats for each specialization.

To be eligible for B.Tech, candidates should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with PCM as main subjects. Admission to B.Tech Program is on the basis of the KEAM , conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Govt. of Kerala.

Candidates who have successfully completed their Diploma in a relevant discipline or B.Sc are eligible for admission in B.Tech 3rd Semester. However, the eligible ones need to appear in B.Tech LET conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala.

Key points:

5% of students are admitted in each discipline under Fee Waiver Scheme (FWS) with tuition fee concession.
50% of seats are designated as free-ship seats for which fee at a lower rate is collected.
35% is designated as full fee seats for which fee, as proposed by the Fee Regulatory Committee, is charged, with concession if any, approved by Government of Kerala.

The College of Engineering Attingal

Admission:

I got admission in this college through Non-KEAM which means they took my plus 2 marks and gave me admission, but the management seats were over and I had to take an NRI seat to get the admission. I planned to take my admission in chemical engineering at Amal Jyothy Kanjirapally, but at the last minute I decided to pursue a career in AI and chose CEAL. It is a decison that I will never regret over. You had to have a KEAM ranking of atleast thirty thousand to get into this college.

I did apply for many top colleges in Kerala but couldn't make the cutoff of those colleges This was the college were I first got confirmed admission at and it's really close to where I live...so I just took my admission here duo to that reason I had 20000 rank in the engineering entrance exam and easily got admission here Admission procedure solely depends on entrance rank and the top 60 get admission here even though in my course it's a virtual guarantee to get admission no matter how low your rank is because of the low student strength for the subject whereas it's harder to get seats in computer science because those seats get filled quick

Admission:

The admissions for the merit seats are based on the keam exam. Reservations are availed. Also there are NRI seats. Management seats costs around 65k. The exams are conducted by the KTU and is conducted by april or may of every year.

Admission:

There is KEAM exam conducted by the kerala govt for entries to technical courses in kerala. The exam mainly focuses on physics, chemistry and mathematics and the paper is out of 600. The difficulty of the paper ranges from easy to difficult. After getting into the rank list there are 3 rounds of counselling that happens. Last year the cut-off were: Merit seats: 27K Management seats: 45K There are some seats reserved for SC, ST, OBC etc. The admission process was delayed very much last time due to which 6 months semester was completed in 3 months, that created great pressure on the students. I hope that gets resolved this time.

Admission:

Admission process is quite simple,but take more time than expected, because of increasing number of students. First you need to write KEAM Entrance exam for getting into a Engineering College.The Mark you got will depends college where you get.in 2020th time pass mark is 10only(I think today is also like that ). After the allotment where you apply number of colleges one college will be selected and from there you get the application forms etc. Yes they have scholarships. University is KTU University where exams are normally tough so u need to study well to pass.so even for admission with your choice of field you should gained the respective marks for that field.
