Eligibility Criteria

Passed Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for reserved category Maharashtra candidates).

B.Sc graduates with Mathematics as a subject and a minimum of 45% aggregate are also eligible for lateral entry into the second year of BE Civil Engineering.

Admission is through DTE Maharashtra’s Lateral Centralized Admission Process for direct second-year entry into SPPU-affiliated engineering colleges.

Diploma holders in Civil Engineering register for the DTE Maharashtra Lateral CAP portal (fe2026.mahacet.org) and upload Diploma marksheets and passing certificate.

Merit list for lateral entry is based on Diploma percentage or MHT-CET percentile as specified by DTE Maharashtra for the current cycle.

Fill the online option form listing JCOE Kuran with BE Civil Engineering (Lateral) as a preference.

Receive provisional seat allotment across multiple CAP rounds based on merit rank and option form choices.
