Andhra University College of Engineering for Women Visakhapatnam Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the final year i.e. from the fourth year 1st semester the students are eligible for the campus interviews. Companies show their abundant attention to our university because of the discipline and knowledge of our students. A minimum percentage of 75 is required for any student to qualify for any company interview and it will be helpful if they do not have any backlogs in any semester of engineering.

Students are eligible for getting the placements from the 3rd year 2nd semester. This year i.e., 2023, a big number of companies visited our college that is nearly 40 companies of my knowledge. And nearly 1000 students were offered by the different companies till now. The companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Pwc, ADP, Accenture, etc., are service-based companies and coming to the core-based companies i.e., Cerium systems, L&T, Schneider Electric, Samsung, JSW Steel, ITC, signal chip, etc. This year till now, 85% of students got placed in every department. The average package offered by our college is 6lpa and the least package is 3lpa and the highest package from our college is 81lpa from the cse department and the company is Atlassian American company. And after that, the highest package is 16lpa from Samsung R&D. Maximum number of students are planning to abroad study after completion of the degree this year. And some are planning to Mtech.

The placements of college are good. if no campus placements, we will try other competitive exams for government jobs. from 3-2 semesters students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like LNT, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, etc. The highest package is 12 lacks per annum and the lowest is 3.5 lacks per annum. 60percentage. Cracking a government job is my plan.

The placements are also good for our college. From the 7th semester, we have to apply for campus placements. The companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Land T infrastructure etc are providing placements to our college. The highest package is around 14-15 lakh per annum and the minimum package is around 5-6lakh per annum. Almost 80% of students get jobs in placements and some of them are promoted to higher studies and abroad studies.

From the 4th-year first semester onwards, campus placements will be there. From 3rd year second semester onwards, students are eligible to get off-campus placements. Many MNCs like Wipro, IBM, Infosys, and Deloitte will hire our students. The highest package will be nearly 15 lakhs per annum. On average there will be a package of 4 lakh per annum. Almost 95%students will be placed.
