21 Nov, 2025 GUJCET 2026 Exam Date has been announced for B.Tech/B.Pharm admission. GUJCET 2026 will be held on March 29, 2026, and the registrations are expected to start from the first week of January 2026 on the official website @gseb.org. For more details, check here.

Government Engineering College (GEC), Bharuch, Gujarat started its functions from the year 2004. The college is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU).

The college only offers B.E degree course at UG level. A total of 480 seats is available for admission in five disciplines of engineering degree.

For admission to B.E course offered by Government Engineering College (GEC), Bharuch, students have to take Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) .
Candidates who have obtained 50% marks in PCM in 10+2 are eligible for admission.
Application forms for GUJCET are filled online.
The application fee of INR 300 is to be paid through demand draft.

GEC Bharuch B.E Admission 2024

The college offers B.E in 5 specializations. The minimum eligibility to apply for BE is that candidates should have passed 10+2 with at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The admission for the year shall be granted on the basis of merit list of GUJCET . GUJCET is conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). The merit list is prepared by taking into account 60% of marks obtained by the candidate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in HSC and 40% of marks in GUJCET.

Candidates with a valid JEE score are also eligible for admission and are exempted from GUJCET.

Key points:

Percentage criterion in the qualifying examination is relaxed by 5% for SC/ST students.
Candidates appearing in JEE need not appear in GUJCET.
50% seats shall be filled from the candidates who have passed JEE Main.
Admissions for these seats shall be filled by counseling process of the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

GEC Bharuch Application Process 2024

Candidates applying for GUJCET should submit Demand Draft of INR 300 as application fee at help centers to get User ID and Password. This ID is then to be used to fill application forms at the official website of GECB.

After submission of application form, candidates should take its print out for further counseling process.

GEC Bharuch Reservation Criteria 2024

Seat allotment in GEC is done considering the reservation provision of the government. Reservations for various categories are as follows:

A candidate seeking admission on reserved seat shall be required to produce a certificate of inclusion in the concerned category. Provided that the candidate belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes, she/he shall be required to produce a certificate to the effect of non-inclusion in Creamy Layer in addition to the caste certificate.

No caste certificate shall be valid unless it is duly stamped, signed and issued by the authority empowered by the Government of Gujarat.

I will first take addmission on gec bhavanagar but in this collage my Friend. So I will gain all review of this collage so is good then I will take addmission in this collage. And bhavanagar collage is my less distance. And I will go to long distance of my home. And bharuch it have many industries so job opportunities are available on bharuch so I will easily know by opportunities and take job. Bharuch near ankeleshwar and dahej gujarat many industries on mechanical engineering student. So esily take job in this industry. Then it collage location of centre of city so easilly shop any tool or object by shop collage near d Mart and trends zudio etc. So student are make mind fresh are esily and easily shop all objects and tool which is required.

I applied to ss Ghandhi Surat and birla Vishwakarma in Anand but didn't lend seat due to low rank at third in choice filling I had gec bharuch and got seat in my desired branch. The admission wese done by acpc counselling so you will get better understanding how this all works

The college is average not so good and not bad.

Admission:

So really i want join to M.S University,baroda which is in my city. But sadly i don't get in this college so then i tried another college which vishwakarma college which is near by 30 km from my hometown and then also i can't get admission because of my rank and the third and final college i got is GEC,Bharuch so there no other college.

Admission:

This college was nearby for me. I liked the way faculties deal with students. The support of college in studies as well as sports. The fee structure was affordable.
