UIET MDU Rohtak Detailed Review

The best part about this college is the fact that its affordable if you compare it with other private colleges , under 4 lacs you will be getting your Technical Degree in your Hand.
The second best thing i would say is the fact that attendance issue is very minimal here , you are completely on your own here and in my ECE department atleast there are few kids whom i see only in exam , I myself show my face once in a week lol.
Here you will get free reading hall and library membership where you can utilise your time and study with full potential , reading rooms have AC facility in summers and Heater in winters .

Dislikes

As this is college is opted by the students who dont have a good jee score , so please expect the same crowd here and dont expect too much , you have to sustain on your own , with your own company if lucky , you will endup finding few good humans tho
College Campus is very big and is the attraction spots of eve teasers , so its not very safe for girls out there , but im telling you if you are mature and know how to ignore then this wont even bother you at all , I mostly roam alone here with music
Labs in Our ECE department are bit old and machines are not properly working but who care about the lab tho , again not every lab but yes few of them i dont even know how to use .

I took a drop so i had no other option left with my JEE rank only this state government college was offering me a chance to pursue a Btech degree , So I took admission over here without any second thought and honestly dont regret it , I couldnt expect more on that rank honestly . For admission process is quite simple you have to fill the form of hstes counselling and the catch here's that you wont even get chemical branch here in online councelling but hold your tea and attend the physical councelling of the college , details of which will be shared in its official portal , in the offline councelling you will get a way better branch.

Why I chose this college

Likes

Campus - campus is very huge with lots of tree and parks to sit on , lots of dogs , cats and sometimes even deers on campus ....
24 hours reading hall .... The reading all is Fully air-conditioned and heated and run for 24 hours all day .. with a good environment to study
Sports complex - university's sports complex is very good with all the equipment available and lots of sports .... Even the pool is provided to students for swimming ...... Highly affordable and very good

Dislikes

Placement cell isn't that great they just don't interact with students as they should
Girls boy ratio the ratio is like 3:1 which is okay but needs quite an improvement
Many students of other colleges around the university created nuisance in university

Admission:

Campus here is way better than any other All the necessities are easily accessible as it is located in the main city rather than rural area The PGI hospital is literally next door to our university so in case of any emergency it is a great thing to have

Great skilled staff and there is full experience of practical knowledge and great environment to be a succesfull skilled engineer
Great infrastracture and good environmental condition
Good classroom size and well setted labs with staff

Dislikes

Sometimes disturbance due to political student groups
Class miss happening during sessional almost 1 weak
No more dislike about campus and collage

Admission:

UIET have great name as i heared abt it from my coushions and i choosed it and after i got admission i found it is best for study games and living style in haryana..its totally ecofriendly and great emvironment

My Honest Opinion About UIET Mdu, Rohtak

Likes

Have very Big Campus and Greenery Everywhere
Really good infrastructure and facilities.
I loved the new library that has all the facilities and books to read and prepare for other exams

Dislikes

There is no job security after Completing the Degree
Service is not good, you have to wait all the time for doing small things also.
Very less company visit the campus and offer very low packages

Admission:

I have no other option than this because I got very low rank in JEE mains exam and My family financial condition are not good that i can take admission in private colleges and main thing that i choose this college is that i got CSE branch in it.

Infrastructure is good well maintained.and placement is also quite good
Dedicated placement cell also there which works hard for students future

Lab facilities is poor and no intership offered by college

Admission is totall based on JEE exam and u have to apply on hstes site for counselling registration and after that online counselling as well as physical counselling take place. Reservation benefits also provided for kashmiri pandits , sc obc reservation

college life, campus and faculty

The campus of the University is big and beautiful. There are so many trees in the campus . There are proper arrangement of clean, drinking water in the campus everywhere. The cleanliness of campus is maintain
The next thing I like most in the campus is the library . There are two library in the University one is small ( for B.TECH and BIO.TECH students only) and open only 9am to 5pm .
But the other one is big 3 floor library ,having thousands of books and reading room which is also open 9 to 5 . But the reading hall is open 24hr a week.

Dislikes

The hostel food provided is of poor quality . Also some of the hostel are in poor condition. ALso there is no canteen ( 24 hr open ) in the campus . student have to go outside the university to eat even maggie or take tea after 10 pm
The teachers and professors are not that expert in their feild except some . The quality education are not provided
The internship and placement facility the campus are very poor. Only some academic topper get placement of max 7-8 lpa.

Admission:

In in engineering , one can take admission through HSTES counselling. After counselling , the left over seat are given to the student through physical counselling. Student having at leat 60-70 percentile in jee mains can take admission in physical counselling and student having 75+ percentile can take admissiom in CSE courses. It is suggested to take atleast 3 copy of every document at the time of admission. and also fill the information in the e saral portal that are provided by the college in the e-mail before counselling .

The campus is very attractive and cleanliness is very good
Placement offers are very good and students get good placement
Teachers are very cooperative and helpful

Dislikes

Hostel mess food is average it can be better

Admission:

First of all, we have to pass the 12th exam and then we have to give jee mains exam in which we have to score a good percentile to qualify for different courses and different B.Tech branches have different cutoff for admission

UIET : a campus nice perspectively

Likes

Computer labs and their system with some being powerful i7 beasts and teachers also dont interfare much if student is sincere and is at doing his work
Library is a peaceful place to devise any creativity or coding questions, assignments
Friends that i have made are amazing . Everybody has a different perspective

Dislikes

Curriculum. I just cant describe. Like for what they are teaching those year old discontinued technologies
Support from seniors . Seniors just dont have any role to play in your development.

Elgibily includes 10+2 qualified in PCM ( physics , chemistry, mathematics ) and applications are drawn through JEE mains . Application forms can be found on offical site uiet.mdu.ac.in and the process of seat allotment is carried out by Haryana Technical Educational Society I have not received any reservation benifits so i cant tell exactly First year was already running late so they completed 2 semesters within 8 months but usually semesters are divided with 6 months with 4 month study 1 month exam and 1 month break classes being mostly dusring 5 days a week For admission process you need to gather all documents prepared as there are no printer facility in campus for this regard and might face some issues of lunch break time

• I have received admission through jee main result in hstes counselling.. I have applied for hstes and received addmission through hstes in TFW category.. (Under TFW category parent income should be less than 5/6 lkh approx)
