Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria for Admission in B.Sc. Honours:
-
A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (calculated from the best four subjects, excluding compulsory Environmental Education or Studies) and 45% marks in the major subject or related subject in the qualifying examination.
OR
-
50% marks in aggregate if the candidate has not studied the subject in their previous qualifying examination, provided all other conditions are met.
OR
-
55% marks in the subject or related subject in the previous qualifying examination.
Marks Criteria for S.C./S.T. Candidates as per C.U. Rules:

40% marks in aggregate or in the subject/related subjects at the previous qualifying examination for all Major courses.

Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination for all MDC courses.

A migration fee of Rs. 100 will be added to the aforementioned fee for migrating candidates if the selected board is not listed below:

- The best thing was few teachers who taught us regularly they were very helpful .
- The atmosphere was good and the location of the college was very good so it was easy to travel for everyone.
Dislikes
- The amenities were very bad and the help form seniors was not available.
- Some of the staffs were bad in their behaviour and some teachers were bad at teaching too.
Fees and Financial Aid:
No, the fees weren't that high at my time it was around 2000 plus on admission after that it was around 500 plus though my subject was non-technical so my fees were low as compared to other subjects. There were scholarship facilities for boys but they were for girls it was provided by the government but no assistance was provided from the college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The Course syllabus was an updated syllabus. CBCS system. No industrial exposure was given.No faculties were provided when someone pursuing graduation.Faculties were not so good. We couldn't find the teaching methods as well as the teachers good enough to teach us.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Toppers of every semester get scholarship and prizes.They are too many scholarship available in my college from both the Calcutta university and college itself. current teachers and ex teachers also give scholarships to the students. Kannyashree is a facility designed for girls in which they get 25000 at a time in the college life for studies
