PAU Scholarship 2026

Punjab Agricultural University offers a variety of scholarships primarily targeted at students from rural or underrepresented backgrounds, such as SC/ST, as well as merit-based awards for high-performing students. Scholarships range from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1200 per month, with specific scholarships including the Piara Singh Parmar Student Aid Fund and the GS Khush Foundation Merit Scholarship, which offers up to Rs. 18,000. SC students benefit from zero tuition fees if their parents are not employed in government jobs.

General category students have fewer opportunities for scholarships. The university's fee structure is variable, with first-semester fees higher than subsequent ones, averaging around Rs. 65,000 for hostellers and Rs. 45,000-50,000 for day scholars. Course costs are approximately Rs. 100,000 per semester, with financial aid available for economically disadvantaged students. Students from outside Punjab admitted through ICAR receive Rs. 3,000 per month. The university supports students through various funding options, though general category students have expressed the need for more scholarship opportunities.
