- The college atmosphere is great and quite lively.It is located a little down to city and girls and boys have separate hostel in the campus itself
- Infrastructure is moderate,however the facilities provided by each department are exceptional
Dislikes
- Patient inflow is moderate due to its location
- Strict rules regarding going outdoor and roaming around the campus
Course Curriculum Overview:
BDS though considered as a simple course,it's not.It requires hand skills along with intellectual knowledge and a good outspolen personality.All these qualities combined together makes you a better dentist.The curriculum provides intellectual knowledge along with improvement in hand skills while staff teaches how to have a good spoken personality. I strongly believe that the curriculum do have its own fault and they should incorporate more about forensic odontology and other aspects of the same.Exams are conducted yearly and its level is quite hard.Year backs are present in the curriculum which is quite disheartening. However work-life balance will be present along with financial stability

- Sports and arts are very much encouraged and allows us to participate in various intercollege programmes
- The current 2016 exam scheme is very good and the pass percentage is higher
Dislikes
- No proper infrastructure the college is too old and old looking it's should be renewed
- No good washroom in college for students as well as patients

After clearing neet exam I enrolled in various colleges and this is the only college I got admission the curriculum is average the pass percentage in our college is very less only 40 out of 100 clearly without any backpapers, exam in conducted every 6 months and difficultly level varies sometimes it will be very tough and sometimes east

- Lag in our exams as we are corona batch of 2021 and
- Not preponding our exams and that affect our competitive exams
Course Curriculum Overview:
I rate it by 4 out of 10. Because as a dental student I have seen my of my batchmates, seniors, juniors who got detached from their batch due to additional system. Its a good thing at the same time a totally bad thing. Because ot may motivate some to study hard for exams but some will get disturbed mentally.

- There is no hostel for dental college but medical College hostel is available so no worries

The curriculum enables us to learn all the advancements in the field of dentistry and prepares us enough to best clinical practitioners to serve patients out there, teaching us about good patient care. The five-year course gives us enough practice in the field

- Year back exam system for bds course which is stressful
- No enough leaves provided for students to relieve stress

Bds has an artistic side too in the course which influenced me to take up this when i didn't get MBBS But at the same time it is little tiring But will enjoy patient exposure and has better job opportunities

- Kerala university of health science have an overall a good curriculum of teaching. Our college provides experienced staffs as mentors. We have innovation related section in our college where we can give our ideas in the fied of dentistry for upcoming
- Social interactions with the patients are widely teached by the experienced doctors. From third year onwards, we start studying about the patient interactions by taking different types of case history. We are also teached how to behave to the patient
Dislikes
- We dont have any placements or placement services provided its a great drawback that we should get off in search of jobs after our internships in our college. And when we apply for a job in dental clinics, they need more experienced dentists to clini
- There is lack of practical based study, for example we dont have root canal treatments and implant related practical works in our curriculum. We also dont have self grooming session in our curriculum for bettering our personal development in this fi
Course Curriculum Overview:
I used to select the kuhs curriculum as it have a overall good value in the medicinal field. The curriculum includes both medical and dental studies and more of the dental clinical works are included in the curriculum. I think there are areas to be improved in clinical field. The frequency and timing of exams are accurate.

- They could have provided more time for conducting extracurricular activities
Course Curriculum Overview:
They have extended clinical period which help us get better exposure and practice the detailed working skills. They prepare us better that any other for the outside world. No areas of improvement required as far as i am concerned. Exams are conducted every 3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I wanted to become a doctor. I choose this course to treat patients in need. This course curriculum is good that they help us to achieve the goals. Curriculum and teaching methods are good. They conduct University exams every year and they also conduct internal exams and model exams before the university exams.

- Good clinical exposure with patients in hospital.
- Experienced and friendly professors and staffs.
Dislikes
- An academic block is missing currently, which will be soon solved.
Course Curriculum Overview:
This course mostly includes practical work which is easier than learning a lot by heart and the curriculum offers the right amount of clinical and preclinical exposure. Adequate clinical exposure which can help you achieve much better experience and efficiency in your practice. The construction of a new academic block close to the current college building is almost complete and to be opened soon. It can solve many of the current issues regarding preclinical labs and lecture halls hopefully. University exams are conducted on an yearly basis and Supplementary exams once in every six months.

- Garden is full of flowers mango tree and mini artificial pond

- Seniors are friendly also some of them are rude on intial phase
- Ragging can be annoying for soft hearted students

BDS IS A MIXTURE OF ART AND DOCTOR I LOVE TO DRAW ALSO MY PASSION WAS TO BECOME A DOCTOR SO IT WAS THE BEST FOR ME KOZHIKODE DENTAL COLLEGE HAVE HIGH PATIENT COUNT SO WE GET SUFFICIENT EXPOSURE BEFORE GRADUATION COMPARED TO PRIVATE COLLEGES SO WE STILL LEARN METHOD THAT HAVE BEEN STOPPED USING IN REAL LIFE SCENARIOS SO I WISH THE UNIVERSITY TO MODIF THE CURRICULUM ACCORDINGLY EACH ACADEMIC YEAR WE HAVE UNIVERSITY EXAMS AND IT HAVE VERY LESS DIFFICULTY COMPARED TO NEET UG
