Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU), Patna offers various under-graduation, post-graduation, diplomas, and research-based courses in different specializations. The popular under-graduation courses offered at the University include B.E/B. Tech, and BCA. The university considers the marks obtained by a candidate in entrance exams like AKU, NEET, and BCECE entrance tests. For other UG & PG courses, admission is offered through an entrance examination conducted by AKU itself or through merit secured in the previous qualifying examination.
AKU is widely known for offering Ph.D. courses under different specializations at a major level. Aspirants seeking admission into any Ph.D. are required to have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline. Those aspirants who get selected will have to appear for PRT (Pre-PhD Registration Test) which is conducted by the University. The applicants qualifying for the exam will be invited for a personal interview round based on their scores obtained in the respective exam. The final list will be released depending upon the performance of each shortlisted candidate in the entrance exam, personal interview, and the scores obtained by the candidates in the previously held qualifying exam.

Aryabhatta Knowledge University MBBS, BDS & BAMS Admission 2024
Aryabhatta Knowledge University also offers M.B.B.S, B.D.S. and B.A.M.S. courses in the medical field. The M.B.B.S. and B.A.M.S. courses are offered for a duration of five and a half years, whereas, the course duration for the B.D.S. course is five years.
Admission to all these courses is through NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Candidates can apply online for NEET.

Aryabhatta Knowledge University UG Programs Admission 2024
Aryabhatta Knowledge University offers 14 different courses at the undergraduate level. All the UG level courses are for a duration of three years, except for B.Pharm (4 years) and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (2 years).
Admission to all the B.Pharm course will be made in the Autumn Semester of each session at the First Year level through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB), Patna the counseling for which is done by the Central Counseling of the BCECEB, Patna. Candidates can apply online for the BCECEB. For admission to all other UG courses, the marks obtained by the candidates in their previous qualifying examinations are considered for preparation of the final merit list.

Aryabhatta Knowledge University M.Tech Admission 2024
The University also offers the Master’s degree in Technology M.Tech) with seven different specializations. All the M.Tech courses are offered for a duration of two years.
The University conducts an entrance test for admission to the various M.Tech courses and the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test along with their marks in the previous qualifying examination are considered for preparation of the final merit list.

Aryabhatta Knowledge University also offers the B.Ed. and M.Ed. courses for candidates willing to pursue their careers in the education field. The B.Ed. course is offered for the duration of two years, whereas, the M.Ed. course is offered for the duration of one year.
Admission to the B.Ed. course is based on the marks obtained by the candidates in B.Ed. Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the university itself. Candidates can register for the B.Ed. Joint entrance test through official website of the university.
For admission to the M.Ed. course, the candidates need to appear for an entrance examination conducted by the university itself. The final merit list for the B.Ed. course will be based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination as well as in the previous qualifying examination.

Aryabhatta Knowledge University PG Medical Admission 2024
Aryabhatta Knowledge University also offers a number of postgraduate medical courses under various specializations. The M.D. course is offered for a duration of two years, whereas, the course duration for the M.S. and M.Ch. courses is three years.
Admission to all the postgraduate medical courses are based on the merit of the candidates in NEET (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Aryabhatta Knowledge University also offers the M.Sc. and M.B.A courses along with a post M.Sc. Diploma course at the postgraduate level. All the three courses are offered for a duration of two years.
Admission to the M.Sc. and Post-M.Sc. courses are based on the merit of the candidates in their previous qualifying examination, whereas, for the M.B.A. course, the university conducts an entrance test followed by the group discussion and personal interview rounds for selection of the candidates.

Aryabhatta Knowledge University Ph.D. Admission 2024
The applications will be screened and the selected applicants will be called for Pre-Ph.D.
Registration Test (PRT) conducted by the university itself. The candidates shortlisted on the basis of their marks obtained in the entrance test are invited for the interview rounds.
Final preparation of the merit list is based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance test and interview along with the marks obtained by the candidates in their previous qualifying examination.

- Online application form has to fill on University official website.
- The online filled application form (Printed /downloaded) must be sent with the Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) and Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred Only) for SC/ST candidates only, issued from any nationalized bank, in favour of “AKU, REGISTRATION AND EXAMINATION FUND” payable at Patna.
