M.Phil. Admission Procedure

1. Entrance Examination: Admission is primarily through an entrance test conducted by the University of Kerala.

2. Exemptions from Entrance Test: Candidates who have qualified in UGC-NET/JRF, CSIR-NET/JRF, SLET, GATE, or hold research fellowships from recognized government agencies may be exempted from the entrance test.

3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend an interview to discuss their research interests and suitability for the program.

4. Final Selection: Based on performance in the entrance test and interview (or exemption criteria), candidates are selected for admission.

1. Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university, with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

2. Physical Fitness: Applicants should be physically fit to engage in daily physical activities as per the college's schedule.

3. Relaxation for Reserved Categories: A relaxation of 5% in marks (i.e., from 55% to 50%) is applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-abled categories, as per University norms.
