The disciplines in which the BE degrees are offered is as follows:

• Computer Science and Engineering
• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Biomedical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Medical Engineering

The discipline in which the B.Tech. degree is offered is :

• Information Technology

Note: The college also offers lateral entry (admission in second year) for Diploma and B.Sc. candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects from Tamil Nadu Board or equivalent with at least 50%.
• The eligibility for admission to second year B.E./B.Tech under lateral entry requires either a Diploma or  B.Sc (with Maths in 10+2). Where 55% is required by general category candidates and 50% for the reserved category.

Selection Criteria

Students are selected for admissions based on TNEA counselling.

Admission Process

• Students have to fill the form of the college
• The selection is based on the cut off marks obtained in the higher secondary (10+2) examination
• Cut off mark = 200 (100 for Mathematics and 100 for Physics + Chemistry)
• For lateral entry shortlisting is based on the percentage marks obtained in the Diploma (10+3/12+2) examination.
• Shortlisted candidates have to appear for counselling process

Documents Required

The following original certificates along with two sets of attested copies to be produced at the time of admission for UG courses:

• SSLC Certificate with Mark Sheet (for evidence of Date of Birth)
• Higher Secondary Mark Sheet
• Transfer Certificate from the Institution last studied
• Original Category Certificate
• Sports Certificates of achievement, if allotted under Sports Quota
• Extra-Curricular Certificates, if any.
• Nativity Certificate
• Conduct Certificate
• Five Passport size photos

The 4 disciplines offered are:

• Embedded System Technologies, VLSI Design & Applied Electronics: BE/B.Tech in EEE/ ECE./ CSE/ Instrumentation and Control Engg./ Electronics
• Computer Science and Engineering: BE/B.Tech in EEE/CSE/ IT./ Software Engineering/ Electronics Engg./ Computer Hardware and Software Engg

Eligibility Criteria

Students must have a relevant degree in B.E/B.Tech or equivalent with 50% aggregate (45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category)

Selection Process

• Selection is based on TANCET entrance.
• Also those students who qualify for GATE entrance are exempted from appearing for TANCET.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must have a bachelor degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination:
  • 10+2+3 years pattern(or)
  • 10+3 years Diploma + 3 years pattern(or)
  • B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm.(or)
  • i) 10+2+AMIE* (or) ii) 10+3 Years diploma + AMIE*

Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration with mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduate level and obtained at least 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination

• (c) B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm.(or)
