University College of Technology, Osmania University Hyderabad M.Tech Food Process Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

• Candidates B.Tech. (Chemical Engineering) degree or any degree recognized by the University as equivalent to it is eligible for admission.
• Admission to all M.Tech. courses will be on the basis of the percentile score obtained at the GATE examination. If the sufficient number of candidates with GATE qualification not available for admission, candidates who have not passed the GATE examination will also be considered for admission against the remaining seats on the basis of their performance at the entrance test (PGECET) conducted by the Government of Telangana State.
• Those candidates who have secured at least 55% marks or a grade point average of 2.4 out of 4 in B.Tech (Chem. Engg) degree are only eligible to write the entrance test.
• Candidates who have appeared for B.Tech. Final examination and awaiting results are also eligible to apply for admission.
• Two supernumerary seats are available to the candidates sponsored by the Teaching/Research/Industrial establishments situated under the jurisdiction of Osmania University. They should possess two years experience and also pass GATE examination or the entrance test conducted by the Government of Telangana State. to be considered for admission to the M.Tech course.
