U.V. PATEL COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING IN A NUTSHELL

Likes

One thing I liked is the infrastructure provided by the college and the university. Well maintained buildings and the quality of overall infrastructure is excellent when compared to other colleges in the region.
College transportation is I would say great.
The labs provided in the college are good with softwares available to work with.

Dislikes

Theory based learning is given more weight rather than practical based.
One common problem is with the electricity and frequent power cuts.
Some of the professors are just for sake of taking salary.

Internships Opportunities:

Mosty the companies which visit for internship offer the job roles with talent recruitment, business development executive, business analyst, software developer, data analyst, cloud engineer, cyber security expert and other technical job roles.

Likes

Collage semester grading system is so nice and easy.
Some fecultys are easy to talk toa helpful.
Collage event are very enjoyable like Navratri and university fest.

Dislikes

I think fees are little bit too much for the Collage.
Very less interaction between student and Teacher because of student overflow.
Some teacher are not good with students in case of helping the student in life problem .

Internships Opportunities:

universtiy have the placement dive every year for collage to collage. that also provide the internship program for the not selected student in placement. internship periad is 16 weaks it is not mandetory for every student to get the internship but most of the feculty sugess student shoud get the exposer of the indestry. if studen don't want do internship thay can do 1 full project and give exam of 2 subject to cover the internship period.

SHOULD YOU JOIN GANPAT UNIVERSITY FOR MARINE ENGINEERING OR BSC NAUTICAL SCIENCE ?

Likes

Placements are nice in this college as of this year
Many State of the art equipment like 360 ship simulator Ship in campus
Nice sitting facility and garden in the area to study

Dislikes

Faculty is below average as they are captains not teachers
Timings are very terrible as we come at 9 am and go back 5pm you cannot focus that much
Rest hours are not nice as you have to follow a strict navy schedule

No internship in ganpat University for marine because our field has cadetship on board ship only that too after course completion after placement as a learning sailor for your role of deck or engine cadet

College you are getting transportation bus
Full campus is cleaned and so many workers for doing cleaning
College is providing ID cards and email address to each of the students many colleges are not providing college email ID but this college we are getting college email ID

Dislikes

Placements are not good so the return of investment is not good
College miss food is not good you don't like the Gujarati foods
Into rooms you are sharing one toilet so toilets are not so good

Internships Opportunities:

In this college the last sem we have to do internship so this is good because you are doing internship so the job opportunities are getting higher, most of the students doing free intensive but if you have skills he can get all so paid internships

All About UVPCE under Ganpat University

Likes

College provides you all the things like Student ID card Students mail issued by University
All time Security at all places like hostel college CCTV at every corner
Campus is big and the campus is clean from everywhere

Dislikes

Campus is too far from the city near 80KM so taking time if you are going home or coming hostel
Mess food is not good as those are gujrati food I really hate the food
Placements are not as the fees they are taking

Internships Opportunities:

I don't know about the internship as I am the 1st year student so Don't know the actual process but you can get internship at last year as it was the part of the course but most of the students doing free internship not paid.

Sports complex is really good and have swimming pool as well.
Labs are also fully equipped and good specifications l

Dislikes

Wifi is not at all good , there is wifi but wont work properly.
Industrial visits are not often for computer branch.

Internships Opportunities:

There are many startup companies that will hire people for jobs and they will only give the internship as well with a good stipend. There are web developers, app developers, and many roles like software developers, etc.

our college faculty is very helpful and kindly. they provide a knowledge about the all type. may course are available in our university . you chose any course you like it. Our college's placement system is very important and easy to applying

Dislikes

In the our college two internal are is come .they helpful for our and our carrier. but this system for the exam I don't like it.

Placement Experience:

In college, many companies are coming at the end of the 7th semester. In our university highest package is 18,00,000 per year that provides by Googles company, placement percentage in our college is 78%.

Library have a large amount of books so no need to purchase

Faculties are qualified but not friendly
Syllabus have too much unnecessary subject

We can do Internship from the 5th and 7th sem, some students get very important roles under internships with stipends, the project is very important for the last sem assessment, and the project carries 20 credits in the last sem

IBM, TCS these companies gives internships opportunities to most of the students, As for Computer Engineering, students gets roles of intern, field work engineer, etc. They provides an average stipend of 60k for 6 months of internship.
