Asian Workers Development Institute (AWDI) was established in the year 1981 under the Bastia Memorial Trust. It is affiliated to Sambalpur University. AWDI offers PGDM, PGDIRPM (intake 64), PDIS (intake 120) and B.LIb (intake 46). To be eligible for these courses, the candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

The admission to Diploma in Environmental Education and Management (DEEM) program is granted on first come first serve basis. The total number of seats

The institute invites applications from eligible candidates in online and offline modes. The steps to file an application are:
Online Process:
- Online registration can be made under the ‘Admission’ tab by clicking on the link ‘Apply Online’.
- Candidates have to follow the instructions and fill all the required personal and academic details.
- On successful submission of the form, an Identification No (ID) will be allotted to the candidates that are required to be saved for future reference.
- The application fee has to be paid in the form of DD from any nationalized bank in favor of "Asian Workers Development Institute" payable at Rourkela.
Offline Process:
Application form can also be purchased directly from the institute on cash payment or by sending the requisite application fee and submitting the same to AWDI by post.
