Zion College of Physical Education was established on 18 December, 1986 under Zion Social Educational Agriculture Development Society, Kadapa,  Andhra Pradesh and permitted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The college is affiliated by the Sri Venkateswara University and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college offers Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) course to the students under which admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University. The college has a well-equipped, airy and spacious classrooms with all modern facilities. All the faculty members which is appointed by the college are M.Phil. qualified with 5 years experience.The college is providing a variety of teaching and learning techniques to the students which are employed to impart knowledge and skills.
