The Vimal Muni College of Education, Jammu was established in 2003 under the aegis of Vimal Muni Adarsh Educational Society in its own building. The college mission is to alleviate human sufferings, eradicate illiteracy, ignorance and poverty and impart sound education with opportunities for research and development. The institute is affiliated to University of Jammu. it is a self-financed college. The institute is approved by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). The college offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course.
A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at Vimal Muni College of Education in its various departments. The college has well equipped airy and spacious class rooms with all modern facilities. The institute has well maintained library with wide range of books collection and journals.
