The Vimal Muni College of Education, Jammu was established in 2003 under the aegis of Vimal Muni Adarsh Educational Society in its own building. The college mission is to alleviate human sufferings, eradicate illiteracy, ignorance and poverty and impart sound education with opportunities for research and development. The institute is affiliated to University of Jammu. it is a self-financed college. The institute is approved by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). The college offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course.
