St Francis Assisi Teacher Training Institute, Alappuzha was established in 2004 under the aegis of the Corporate Management of Schools, Diocese of Alleppey. The college offer Elementary courses of two years duration. It is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The motto of the college is “Go ye and teach all Nations”. It gives importance to form a new generation of teacher’s who become pioneers and catalysts in building up a society of respect, justice and freedom.
