The fee structure is kind of High for lower middle-class students, it can be deducted otherwise it is quite good. It costs around 20000 rupees per year. We can apply for the Swami Vivekananda Merit cum mean scholarship, which gives 18000 rupees per year.

Actually. in this college there is no directly on campus placement this is a bitter truth. scholarships are many there like - 1) Swami Vivekananda Scholarship 2) sc, st scholarship is quite famous among these catagory.

If any wants to study Microbiology then he/she should know that microbiology is a costly subject and based on that the fees of all government colleges including Kalyani Mahavidyalay are decent. And if there is a price hike then it will only take place after a new government order. Otherwise, the college cannot increase the fees on its own. The cost of study in our college is affordable. The admission fee is approximately Rs 2500. And the next year the fee also varies between Rs 1500-2500. So the total cost of the study is around Rs7k-8k. College does provide financial help to needy students. And you can apply for many scholarships. Both boys & girls students can apply for SVMCM scholarships which pay Rs 24000-30000 per year. Kanyasshree scholarships are available only for girls. If you want to renew scholarships you have to get 60% marks for SVMCM and 45% marks for K2 scholarships. And if you have a caste certificate you can apply for OASIS scholarships which are around Rs 5000 per year.

The fee structure is quite affordable requiring you to submit semester fees before each semester exam. Given the high lab cost for microbiology, the course is the most expensive in the entire college but quite cheaper compared to other private institutions. The tution fees are quite cheap. There are no direct scholarships provided the college but government and other scholarships can be applied to and benefited from. I personally never needed to apply for any scholarship. There are also no job opportunities on campus but anyone is free to apply to other jobs and internships off-campus.

There are so many chances to get a scholarship. Any state or central scholarship you can get regarding this college. And you can get also some amount of fees depending on your family's economy on behalf of a special application to your principal. Sadly there is no campus job or interview opportunities.
