Established in 1986, Jamini Roy College (JRC) is an Undergraduate Arts and Commerce degree college in the Bankura district of West Bengal.

It is affiliated to University of Burdwan. The college is acknowledged by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and awarded “B” by NAAC.

Jamini Roy College is one of the oldest colleges of India that accepts only up to 891 students per year and offers B.A and B.A. (H) for admission.

At first the institution give forms. then a meritlist is given according to number. then verification is going on. then we have to submit cash. after that we got admission. there is English Bengali Sanskrit geography history and many other subjects also besides there is also pass course. many students from many students from different places are come here. big playground for us. NCC battalion is also available in the college.
