Janata College of Education, Chandrapur was managed and run by the trust Chanda Public School, Chandrapur. The institute Janata College of Education is the oldest Private Aided one in the naxal affected tribal region. The NCTE WRC Bhopal has granted the permission to start Shikshan Maharshi Late.Shrihari Jiwatode Adhayapak Vidyalaya, Chandrapur with intake capacity of 50 students attached to the Janata College of Education, Chandrapur since the year 2004-05, after the college was accredited by NAAC with B+ Grade. Now as per the needs, requirements and demands of the students of this area the college have applied to the NCTE Bhopal for an additional section of D.Ed.
