MAH BArch CAP 2026 Round 3 Allotment Out Seat Acceptance by August 29

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra has released the MAH Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) Common Admission Process (CAP) 2026 Round 3 provisional seat allotment. It is now live on the official portal at arch2026.mahacet.org.in. Allotted candidates must accept the seat and report to the institute by August 29, 2026.

The allotment reflects candidate merit, preference order, category, and the current seat matrix. Candidates can view their result after logging in with the application ID and password. The CET Cell has also published a public institute-wise allotment list on the same portal.

Round 3 is one of the final CAP rounds for MAH BArch admissions this year. A missed seat acceptance closes the state-level counselling route. Candidates are urged to act well before the deadline.

About the MAH BArch CAP 2026 Process

The MAH BArch CAP is the centralised admission process for full-time Bachelor of Architecture programmes. It covers government, government-aided, university-managed, and unaided private colleges in Maharashtra. The CET Cell conducts the process based on MAH CET BArch scores and Class 12 marks.

The process runs across three main CAP rounds. Round 1 offered the widest seat pool. Round 2 allowed upgradation for earlier-round candidates. Round 3 targets candidates who remained unallotted or declined earlier rounds.

How to Check the Round 3 Allotment Status?

The CET Cell offers two ways to check the result. The personal login shows the specific allotted seat. The public list shows every institute-wise allocation in one file.

  1. Visit the official portal at arch2026.mahacet.org.in.
  2. Click on the candidate login link on the homepage.
  3. Enter your application ID and password to sign in.
  4. Open the Round 3 seat allotment section from the dashboard.
  5. Download the provisional allotment letter and save a copy.

Candidates can also view the college-level allocation on the institute-wise allotment list page.

How to Accept the Allotted Seat and Report to the Institute?

Seat acceptance and reporting are two linked steps. Both must be completed before the August 29 deadline. Missing either step will cancel the allotment automatically.

  1. Log in to the CAP portal using your credentials.
  2. Select the option to accept the Round 3 allotted seat.
  3. Pay the admission fee online through the portal.
  4. Download the seat acceptance receipt after successful payment.
  5. Visit the allotted institute with all required original documents.
  6. Complete document verification and reporting at the college.

Candidates should carry original mark sheets, category and domicile certificates where applicable, the MAH CET BArch scorecard, a valid photo ID, and the provisional allotment letter.

What Happens If a Candidate Misses the Deadline?

The CAP rules treat a missed deadline as a decline of the allotted seat. The candidate then loses claim on that seat. Such candidates are also excluded from further state-level CAP rounds.

They may still explore the institute-level vacancy round. However, seat choices at that stage are limited and college-controlled. Merit-based state protection does not apply at the institute level.

Why This Round Matters

Round 3 is the last CAP round with a wide statewide institute pool for MAH BArch 2026. Candidates who skip acceptance now must depend on the institute-level vacancy round. That stage usually offers fewer seats and shorter timelines.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Log in at arch2026.mahacet.org.in and check the Round 3 seat.
  2. Read the allotment letter for the fee amount and reporting instructions.
  3. Keep original documents, category proofs, and photocopies ready in a folder.
  4. Arrange the admission fee via net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
  5. Complete online seat acceptance well before the August 29 cut-off.
  6. Report to the allotted college in person on the same day.
Keep an Eye On

The CET Cell is expected to publish the institute-level vacancy round schedule and updated seat matrix soon after the Round 3 reporting window closes on August 29.
