Government College of Education is the Premier Secondary Teachers Training Institute that has successfully completed sixty years of its existence. The college library was rated as the best among the Colleges of Education in the country. They also recommended that the College be given status of an autonomous College. The College has the distinction of setting up Women's Studies Centre funded by UGC. The college has well organized publication wing that has over the years improved upon the publications qualitatively and quantitatively. The college library has a rich collection of about 33000 titles, besides back files of a good no. of journals and magazines.

nice faculty but got no allumuni response no we never meet any alummni we had meet at some occassion but was quiet as of that level i not chatted with anybody since i came from lovely proffessional university at june and got admission very frequently so go no chance to meet anybody

Well, even if you have poor financial background, then you apply for scholarship, though the fee structure is very less i.e. around 10,000 annually.
Admissions have already been concluded for the academic year 2023-24, and dates have not been announced for the academic session 2024-25.
You need to appear for an entrance examination conducted by JKBOPEE for taking admission to B.Ed.
Government college of Education does not offer B.Ed+ M.Ed. integrated course.
