SDMIMD Placements 2024 final report is released for the PGDM batch. According to the report, SDMIMD average package stood at INR 10 LPA and the highest package was at INR 14 LPA. Students received job roles like Management Trainee, Consultant, Business Analyst, Credit Analyst, Regional Sales Manager etc.
More than 37 companies have participated in the placement season and more than 8 companies have been recruiting for more than five years. Also 10 new recruiters participated in the placement drive. Some of the top recruiters of SDMIMD included Infosys, Wipro, Schnieder Electric, Oracle, Infosys BPM, Deloitte etc.

The placement is very good in this college. 100% placement happened for the last year batch and good companies come for the placement. Highest was above 15 lakh and average is about 9 lakh. All students who are eligible will be placed by the college itself.

All Students are eligible to sit for placements if they have cgpa above certain limit. For the last year, all the students who were eligible have been placed. 100% placement, my plan after PGDM is to be placed in a well known company and improve my skills. Average placements are about 7 lakhs and highest may be 17 lakh

Placement is very for every year, 90 to 95% placement done in every year, there is also summer internship program for 2 months. It will be helpful for placement.

Placements are very well equipped. Various big companies come to the campus. Profile that is taken is mainly from Human resource, Finance, Marketing. There is a huge demand for FMCG sector companies.

The cplacement and job opportunities are good. Yes college provides internship and most of them are without stipend. The companies which come for internship in college are mostly consultancies and do not provide exact exposure of the corporate world.

The college has a record of 100percent placements for past 2 years and the big companies like Infosys and Deloitte will come every year to take a minimum of 20 students for each company. The college also provides internship opportunities for every student and the stipend is not mandatory for the company.

I got the opportunity to do the internship at Titan company limited, Coimbatore. I got a wonderful exposure about the manufacturing industry. I got to know about the works involved in making the employees feel motivated and increase their productivity. Stipend is 15000 per month. When coming to placements, our college achieving 100% placements everyyear with top companies like Oracle, Infosys, TCS, Ujjivan, Freudenberg and many more.
Placement Experience:
Placement is a cake walk if you were previously working for TCS, INF, Capgemini etc. however for a fresher and the one with lower scores the placement is tough. Infy and TCS paid 8.5 and 6 LPA resp, however there were few others which paid around 8LPA but on a average most students got a pay package of 4 to 6 lakhs. The placement season is short hence getting placed early is important also 20-30 % students dont get placed at the end, that's a depressing thing for the students. But the college tries best to place them.
