LIBA Cutoff 2025: Check Category-wise and Round-wise Cutoff
LIBA PGDM admission are based on CAT or XAT score followed by GD/PI. LIBA CAT Cutoff is expected to be 80 percentile & LIBA XAT cutoff is expected to be 75 percentile for the general category. Apart from PGDM, LIBA also offers Executive Diploma, PGP in Logistics, Certificate and Online programs at the International and Domestic levels. Selection for these programs is based on candidates' applications followed by a performance in PI. For Online and Certificate programs, LIBA considers the merit secured by applicants in the last qualifying exam.

LIBA Selection Criteria
- Candidates who have applied to LIBA will be short-listed on the basis of their CAT 2020 / XAT 2021 scores.
- In case more both CAT and XAT exams are taken by the applicant, LIBA will short-list the candidates for the interview based on their best available test scores.
- Post short-listing on the basis of available scores, applicants will be called for the final selection round (PI Round) at the designated centres
- Performance in Personal Interview (PI) will be awarded high weightage in final selection criteria.
- Group discussions and interviews will be held at Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai or they can be conducted online depending on the COVID situation.
- The evaluation criteria in final selection will also look into the academic year arrears. As per the admission policy LIBA do not admit candidates with a history of more than 2 arrears.
- Evaluation Criteria in LIBA Final Selection will also involve the quality of work experience, academic profile, achievements among others
- Final Admission offer at LIBA will be based on CAT/XAT scores, past academic performance, work experience and performance in GD & PI Round
- Those who qualify for the above rounds are finally selected for admission and are informed via SMS and email.

LIBA Step by Step Admission Process
The aspirants seeking admission at LIBA should apply by registering online.
- Log on to LIBA Admission Website
- Click on the Apply Now link on the home page to create a User Registration. The details of the user ID and password will be sent to your registered email ID. If you forgot your password please click the reset link on the login page.
- After logging into your account using your user name and password, enter your CAT ID / XAT ID, personal details and upload your passport size photograph. Enter your academic details and upload all the support documents.
- Enter your work experience details and upload the support documents. Provide your reference information.
- Confirm all the details and submit the application form. Pay online Rs.1500/- through credit card / Debit Card /Net Banking.
- Download the completed application in PDF and email it to LIBA.

- Class 10th and 12th Marksheets
- Graduation Marksheet and Certificate
- Post Graduation Marksheet and Certificate (For Ph.D.)
- Work Experience Certificate
- Parish Priest Letter (Only for Catholic Candidates)
- Two Passport-size Colour Photographs
- SOP indicating the Research Area. (For Ph.D.)
- Category certificate
- Scorecard of Entrance Exam taken.

LIBA FAQs
Ques. Does LIBA offer an MBA degree?
Ans. LIBA offers Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) which is equivalent to MBA.
Ques. Is the LIBA PGDM programme recognized?
Ans. LIBA’s full time PGDM programme is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to MBA.
Ques. What is the eligibility for getting into PGDM Programme?
Ans. The candidates should hold a three-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university (AIU) with a consistent academic record of the first class (60%) in STD X, STD XII and graduation. Students taking up their final exam in June 2021 can also apply.
Ques. Are there any reservations for SC/ST, Domicile and NRI’s?
Ans.There are no reservations for SC / ST or NRI. However, being a minority institution, 50% of the seats are reserved for minority candidates.
Ques. How do I get to know whether I am selected for the LIBA PGDM programme?
Ans. A call letter for the interview will be sent through email. You may click on the PGDM results in the link on www.liba.edu, login using your LIBA-ID and password and find the results.

LIBA is one of the top b-school in Tamil Nadu. It is presented in the centre of the city and its not a compulsory residential program as people from chennai can be dayscholars.The college has 100% placement records and almost all the big companies visit the campus.The reviews about this college is relatively good and it was suggested by my friends and family.The infrastructure of the college is exemplary and we have immense opportunities to prove our talents through various club activites and events.

LIBA is located in the heart of Chennai, unlike many other colleges which are quite far away from the city. The college has a consistent placement record.Ethics is given an important focus.Chennai is a manufacturing hub, a metropolitan city, lot of IT companies, SAAS companies hub, automobile hub etc. Moreover well connected to cities through Air, Sea and Land.

The actual cutoff at which you can secure your seat at these institutes is as follows:
- For TAPMI you have to score 85+ in both CAT/XAT exams.
- For IFMR you have to score 85+ in both CAT/XAT, in CMAT you have to score 90+ and 300+ in GRE.
- For LIBA Chennai, you have to score 80+ in CAT/XAT.
