GEMS students have been placed with global retailers Target and Walmart as well as online giant Amazon. Immediately after admissions we will have a psychometric test which will help us choose our specialization and after that, we will be registered for placements and we start attending the interviews as per requirement. As a fresher, we will be getting a salary between 10k to 25k depending on the company and our caliber. placements will be 100% because all the students joining our college must be working in order to get their MBA certificate

Placement Experience:

Yes as mentioned already GEMS had a very good option to opt. for internship right from the beginning of semester.The college has separate placement cell which had tie ups with many good companies and startups. They co-ordinated with students to schedule the interviews with the companies related to your domain. They make sure they give you many interviews so that you choose best one that suits your stream. The stipend given solely depends on the experaince, personality and the knowledge of the student and the company where in they get selected but as a fresher its good to start with and its always good to have a internship label when you graduate from any course.In my tenure at GEMS I have seen students working in start up to student working in yahoo and apple as well. so it also depends on how as student we make use of these oppertunities. the Stipend ranges anywhere from 15K to 50K pm depending on student, company and their skills. After passing out from here this internship helps to skip the early struggle of the fresher to search job and helps them to land a job at better stage and better packages, this internship and full time degree help us to stand out of crowd and help us to shine.

In terms of placement or college is better than other MBA colleges as they have placed us at the very beginning of our joining MBA program because we got as an executive we joined as an executive in other businesses as a joint retailer in the Bluestone jewellery luxury market. So after the completion of two years MBA, you have done all the job being an executive now with your degree. You will be having MBA job offers which is a managerial role so we got good placements at gems business school.
