Galgotias University is Great!

Likes

Highest batch size and still placements here are massive.
Mentorship programs are amazing here and we are assigned mentors and we also get to mentor once we become seniors.

Dislikes

Some or nearly half the students that takes admission here are nom serious.
The number of students passing each semester is also low at Galgotias University.

Galgotias University has great placements record and business school of the university is as good as the law and engineering school of the university. Like let's say there are over a 1000 students passing out each year for BBA and still 400 or more are placed with an average salary of 40-50k in hand.

Likes

The faculty members of some of the courses were actually very good in terms of the courses given to them to teach us.
The library area was very well maintained and had a variety of books and study materials.
Overall classroom infrastructure seems to be fine to me as there were smart screens and projectors available.

Dislikes

The management of the overall college seemed to be a bit poor to me as there was no proper arrangements for any problems.
Some of the faculty members were actually not able to teach properly about the particular subject they had been given to take care of.
Students who fail to address the minimum attendance criteria has to go a long process of events and are charged hefty amount to clear their backs and debarred subjects.

Placement Experience:

The placement in the college is overall very good as they offer huge numbers of companies in the campus and have good package for each of the students based upon their capability. The placement becomes eligible from 5th semester and the companies visited were amazon, TCS, etc. Highest package is still unknown to us. The college makes sure each and every student gets placed. My plan is to look after my family business after the completion of the degree.

Their infrastructure and faculty of my course is too good they are supporting
Fest and co curricular activities are good
Campus Life is too good lot of fun activities are done in

Dislikes

Campus is too much crowded and dirtiest
Some faculties are not good they didn't connect with student
Infrastructure is not too good it may effect

Placement Experience:

5 semester students are eligible for campus placement Many companies were visited like tcs microsoft and wipro Highest package is around 20 lakh and average is 4 lakh 80 to 90 percent students were getting placed Doing higher education for abroad

My engagement with campus life and the quality of social interaction is like ok ok because I’m introvert
The quality of infrastructure including campus amenities and learning facilities is top notch
Our cllg also gives an opportunity for internships and placements etc

Dislikes

Management is worse ever i have seen because of population
Exam system is also worst than other colleges
Time table also worst becau Of population there was no fix schedule every week changes

Placement Experience:

The placement in galgotias is 100% ratio big big companies visits and chooses the students who became eligible for campus placements and students became eligible for campus campus placements from 6th semester

Easy to score good marks in exams it's not to difficult
There are some good faculty to talk when need in help
Events are organised properly by students

Dislikes

Management is very bad do not co-operate in any matter
Too much exams are being held as in every month
They never give solution just tells to go from one place to another

I choose this course because I would get into business and this course in this college is not that difficult to understand some subjects are difficult though. It will help if the faculty improves teaching by more interaction. And exams pattern also need some changes as it is held in every month

Ground area is nice for sitting under the sun.
Block C looks very attractive and can sit there when there is a break.
Infrastructure is also good and fest are also good every month any other actor visits the university.

Dislikes

Attend all the classes. no proxy are supported
There are many classes in one day at least 6

Course Curriculum Overview:

i wanted to explore the school of business that's why I opted for this course. there are 19 sections for bba specialisation and in my section total no. of students are 92. faculty teachers are good and they teach very well. exams were quite tricky.

I liked the environment of the university and the infrastructure..
The infrastructure is outstanding. The campus is huge.
Dedicated grounds for football and other co-curricular activities.

Dislikes

The exams got hard . The ERP system was slow

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus selection. Companies like American Express, Flipkart, and tech Mahindra visit our college for hiring students. The highest package goes up to 12Lpa and the average is 5 to 6 lpa. 70% of students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to do MBA.

Likes

I like the support of teacher whenever you need it without hesitation.
The clubs be ouse you can only join a club via giving interview and you can showcase your ability
The cafeteria is also good you can have everything you need

Dislikes

The timing of the lecture sometime it start at 8 30 morning
The thing I disliked is price of things in cafeteria as it provides you every food item but at very expensive

Placement Experience:

Placement is good but it totally depends on individual capability companies will come from renowned brand also like Kotak Mahindra, HCL and the average package is off 400000/yr the company that visited campus were around 15 and the average number of seats were 10 that have been offered by the company many people have their family business so approx 60 per cent are getting job accept them Nd many of them don't give an interview for going for higher education. I will be going for a job for 1 yr

I like the infrastructure of the University
You can come to campus at any time between 8-5 and no need to follow any dress code you need only your identity card
Some to the faculty are really good, they work hard for us and give their 100%

Dislikes

In my view, the time table is not good, we go to study only 3 days a week and in those 3 days we study from 9 am to 5 pm
Management is very bed of University, they inform students very late
Local people dominat their, they want rule over other students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I go for BBA general because I was confused at that time. Then in 1st semester, there was a total of 8 courses. Some of them were really great faculty who taught us & give their 100% & researched daily & taught daily something new While some of them just come to complete their duties, they are careless about students. And semester 1 was completed very fast just in 3.5 months semester 1 was completed.
