GRD IMT B.Tech Mechanical Engineering: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The B.Tech program faced challenges with faculty focusing more on student attendance than effective teaching, often relying on free online resources. The first-year syllabus was manageable, similar to 12th-grade content, but the second year became more complex with technical subjects. The third year was disrupted by COVID-19, leading to a semester without classes and online learning in the other. The fourth year was particularly difficult, with some faculty receiving criticism for unfair treatment regarding attendance and grading, and inappropriate remarks were made by a faculty member following a student's accident.

Initially, the college did not have a placement program, but in the fourth year, it introduced one with companies like DHL, KP Reliable, Cognizant, and Mega Rubber, offering salary packages between 15,000 and 25,000 INR. The annual college fee is 82,000 INR, including tuition and lab charges. Scholarships between 50,000 to 55,000 INR are available, reducing the fee to around 20,000 INR for some students. Polytechnic diploma holders from the same college pay between 40,000 to 55,000 INR annually.

Additional charges are minimal, with a late fee fine of 50 to 100 INR per day, which can be waived with a proper application.
