Ques. How many attempts does a student get to clear a semester examination at DMIMS?
Ans. A regular student at DMIMS will get a maximum of three attempts to clear a semester examination- End Semester Examination, Re- End Semester Examination and Repeater. If he/ she fails in all these attempts, he/she will be discontinued as a regular student of the institute. After clearing the course, he/ she has to re-register as a regular student.
Ques. If I want to take admission to DMIMS, Nagpur, after a temporary break from studies, will I be admitted to the college?
Ans. If a candidate wants to discontinue the program at DMIMS, Nagpur, in the middle of the semester for any valid reasons, and wishes to rejoin in a later semester, he shall apply in advance. Such an application shall be submitted before the last date of payment of the examination fee of that particular semester and forwarded through the Dean of Academics, along with the required documents. Only the students with no outstanding dues are allowed to take a temporary break. The break from study can be granted only once in a program within the maximum permissible period.
