Datta Meghe Institute of Management Studies Nagpur Course Admission 2025: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

Datta Meghe Institute of Management Studies (DMIMS) Nagpur is an Autonomous Institution affiliated to Nagpur University. The institution has secured 92nd place in NIRF and it is graded as an ‘A+’ university by NAAC.

The institution offer admission to the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in 5 specializations. Students with a graduation degree in any of the subjects or streams can apply for admission to the MBA programme.

The course is offered in 2 shifts. Total intake in the 1st shift and 2nd Shift includes 80% intakes through CAP and the remaining 20% seat allotments will be based on All India Level Examination. 

DMIMS has a good placement record in the field of Retail and IT sectors. 32% of the students were placed in the past year’s recruitment drive.

The application form will be available on the DTE Maharashtra website in the month of June. Applicants have to appear in the Common Entrance Test (CET). Students belonging to Maharastra will have to appear in MAH-CET. Other candidates have to apply for national level entrance examinations i.e, CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ CMAT. 

The merit list of shortlisted candidates in the qualifying examination will be uploaded on the official website of DTE Maharashtra. CAP will have 3 rounds for allotting college. The final selected candidate’s list will be updated on the website.

DMIMS Nagpur MBA Eligibility:

A Bachelors’s degree in any subject and from a recognized university or institution is the mandatory qualification for having admission to MBA. Minimum 50% marks should be secured in the final examination for being eligible for applying for admission. For the students belonging to SC/ST category, 45% marks should be secured in the qualifying examination.

Candidate need to appear in any of the following examinations for being considered for shortlisting. The exams are CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA/ CMAT/MAH-CET. 

DMIMS Selection Criteria:

The selection will be based on the performance in the CET. Candidates need to apply for the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). Shortlisting of candidates will be based on the document verification and scored secured in either All India Level CET or MAH-CET. CAP is a 3 rounds selection process. Colleges will be allotted in the final round of the selection process. Student needs to give their confirmation and have to report the college with the allotment letter followed by the supporting documents.
