Bengal Institute of Business Studies (BIBS), Kolkata, Placement Report 2025 has been released. According to the Report, the highest package is INR 13.60 LPA, and the average package is INR 6.5 LPA. The top recruiters at BIBS were Deloitte, PwC, ITC, Nestlé, Capgemini, Amazon, Reliance, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Flipkart, Britannia, and more.

In 2025, BIBS offered internships to its students as well. Almost 30% Pre-Placement Offers (PPO) were offered to BIBS students during or after their Summer Internships.

Moreover, 80% of recruiting companies at BIBS revisit to hire again every year for both SIP and Final Placements. According to the Placement Report, more than 400 recruiters had participated in the internship fair.

Ques. How does the placement process take place at BIBS?

Ans. The following are the general points that can help you understand the placement process at BIBS:

The entire placement process (both Summer and Final placements) is managed by a group of students under the placement committee.
Students need to appear for a Placement Evaluation Test (PET) for their placements. This is a two-part evaluation that covers a written examination, followed by a GD and PI for final grading of all students.
Students also have to undergo a summer placement project in an organization for 12-15 weeks.
As per the PET ranks and the requirements of the companies, students are then shortlisted for the interview Process of the company, which may comprise of Aptitude Test, GD, and PI.
Companies, after completion of the interview Process, may hand out a spot offer to the student or provide a Final selection List to the institute subsequently.

Honestly college is not very good but yes average

Placements are good sometimes but not exactly sure because some batches are not placed somes are placed or somes are not then they trying to get placement for own if i talk about the percentage of placement then i would say 60% not 100%,for 3rd semester students are eligible for placement & one terms is here that is 75% attendance is mandatory for getting placement, i have visited 3-4 companies & they offer 3.7-4 lpa package,my plan after getting the degree, firstly i looking for a company around 4-5lpa package then i started to develop my self

My college placements are very good, their is around 90 percent of students got placed every year, but the attendance is vety strict you have to maintain a good attendance otherwise you'll not be able to seat for the placements

we also visited fund houses and amc's that gave us added knowledge and skillls and gave us a live exposure to the real life industry projects and cultures

So talking about placements we are sent for interviews just after our second quadmester exams and it maybe paid or non paid internship , as per your qualification and clearance of various tests , also there is a high chance of getting Pre Placement Offer from the internship itself and if not we will return to college after completing our internship and then sit for final placements , where in finance we get comapnies like , SBI Mutual Funds , HDFC AMC and Bank , Icici , Bajaj , Etc . and mostly all the companies give an average package ranging from 6-10 lakhs and they hire good number of candidates , and talking about the placement percentage . many are placed in the first attempts only and the few students takes time to reappear and crack their job.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements...There is 100% of placement record in our college..Many reputated companies like ITC, Nestle, Britannia, Himalaya etc companies come for placements of BM students every year.Highest package of 2k24 was 13.2L where average package offered is 5-6L..My plan is to get a good package and work culture job after getting the degree.

Placement Experience:

After 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements. PwC, EY, HDFC Bank, NJ Group, IDBI Bank, ICICI Securities, SBI Mutual Fund and they have made various offers in these companies. Highest package till now is 7 Lacs. The placement period is not yet over so can't say about percentage.

BIBS has good depth in placement. Placement team of this B-School is very efficient

Placement Experience:

Placement process begins at the end of quadmester. Lots of companies visit BIBS evey year to recruit students of BIBS. Companies such as Aditya Birla Mutual Fund, Euromonitor, PWC,EY,etc. Average package offered is 4.75L and maximum package offered here was 13L

Till now I am seeing in my own eyes that in previous year, there is a 270 student in marketing and now right now the 15 student left to place and rest of the team are already placed to a many companies like ENYF Flipkart in Bandan Bank ICICI bank in a mini sector in FMCG also and FMCT also, but and retail, but I told that the ratio of placement is too higher than other college and also giving the good package is. The main thing with the job rule should be maintain the package.
