Amity Business School (ABS) is a constituent institute of Amity University, Haryana located in Manesar (Gurgaon). ABS offers management courses at PG level. Presently, ABS offers MBA (General), MBA in Hospital & Healthcare Management, MBA in Banking & Finance, Executive MBA, M.Sc in Business Analytics and Ph.D in Management.
The MBA (General) programme offered by Amity Business School ABS is affiliated to MDU, Rohtak.It’s important to note that as per recent government ruling the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) will not conduct online off-campus counselling for admissions into MBA programme.
- ABS will offer admissions to MBA candidates based on the scores obtained in MAT/CAT/XAT/NMAT/GMAT or Amity Written Test.
- The academic eligibility requires bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.
- In case of admissions to MBA Hospital & Healthcare Management and M.Sc in Business Analytics candidates need to have bachelor’s degree in a relevant science discipline.
- Admissions to these courses would be based on entrance exam conducted by the institute followed by personal interview.
- Aspirants desirous of pursuing Executive MBA programme must have bachelor’s degree and minimum three years work experience.
- Ph.D admissions are done through Ph.D Entrance Test (PET) followed by interview by Faculty Research Committee (FRC).

For candidates interested in a management career, the institute offers MBA in five specialisations. The total number of seats offered is 60. The programme is affiliated to MDU, Rohta. Hence, the admission criteria and eligibility is as per the norms of the university.
Candidates’ selection will be based on scores obtained in CMAT. The shortlisted candidates are required to clear group discussion and interview rounds for final allotment of admissions.
They need to have a Bachelor’s or Post- graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto by KUK, MDU, GJU& CDLU.

- Reserved category candidates need to pass in bachelor’s degree for applying.
- Those having cleared final examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accounts of India/ Institute of Costs and works Accounts of India / Institute of Company Secretaries of India are eligible to apply.
- In case seats remain vacant, candidates having CAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT or Amity Written Test scores may apply.
- Out of the total seats intake, 7 seats are reserved for SC candidates; 14 seats are reserved for BC candidates while remaining seats are for general category candidates.

The institute also offers Ph.D in Management at research level in both full time and part time mode. Those seeking admissions must appear in the entrance exam conducted by Amity University and appear in interview.
Candidates applying for Ph.Dprogramme must have passed their master’s degree in any of the given streams: HR,Marketing,Finance,Agriculture Management, Industrial Relations, Operation Research and International Business.

- PET is a computer based test of one and a half hour duration comprising two sections including questions related to i.) General Knowledge ii.) Subject applied for.
- Students who have cleared NET of UGC / CSIR / ICAR (ASRB) / GPAT / ICMR / GATE in the last 2 years are exempted from appearing in PET but have to appear in interview.
Amity Business School, Gurgaon Application Process 2024
Applicants can apply for any of the courses offered at ABS in online and offline mode. The application form is available at a fee of INR 1100/-. Follow the given directives to make an application.
Online Mode:
- Visit the Amity University website and click on the tab “Apply Now”.
- The page will be directed to online admission portal where application form has to be filled up in six steps.
- Provide basic details, programme and campus preferred, personal, educational, family and work experience details accurately.
- Submit and proceed to upload soft copy of class 10th mark sheet and recent color passport size photograph.
- Pay the application fee via Debit Card/Credit Card.
Offline Mode:
- Download the application form from the Amity University website.
- Fill your basic details and download application form in PDF format.
- Print the application form, complete it by providing essential details, affix recent color passport size photo.

Scholarship
ABS offers both need based and merit based scholarships to students enrolled in MBA programme. The scholarship schemes are as given below:
For both Boys and Girls - A Scholarship of INR 500/- per month is offered to about 10% of the MBA (Previous) students belonging to familieshavingannual income less than INR 60000/- per annum and have obtained minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
For Girl Students - a) ABS institutes prizes of INR 2100/-, INR 1100/- and INR 500/- to girl students securing 1st, 2nd and 3rd position scoring minimum 70% marks in MBA (Previous)
b) Free books are provided to all girl students of MBA.
