01 Apr, 2026 MAT May 2026 session registrations have started for MBA admission. Aspirants can register @mat.aima.in till May 25, for PBT Mode, and till June 8, for CBT Mode. The Exam will be held on May 31 (PBT) and on June 14 (CBT).

24 Mar, 2026 Karnataka PGCET 2026 registration has begun @cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The last date to apply is Apr 8. The Exam will be held on May 23, for M.Tech/M.Arch and May 24, for MBA/MCA.

AJ Institute of Management (AJIM) is affiliated to Mangalore University. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is recognized by Government of Karnataka.

The institute accepts admission from Management Quota and Government Quota as well.

AJIM offers MBA under various specializations. Candidates are selected on the basis of KEA/KMAT/CAT/CAT/CMAT exams. Those who get selected have to attend the Counselling process.

AJ Institute of Management MBA Admission 2024

There are 5 specializations under MBA course which includes Finance, HR, Marketing, Banking & Insurance and Hospital Administration.

Candidates who are applying through Management Quota have to pay INR 2,80,000 towards the course fees. While candidates applying through Government Quota have to pay INR 70,000 + Government Fees.

There are 60 seats each under both Quotas.

AJ Institute of Management MBA Eligibility

The minimum requirement for the course is mentioned below:

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST candidates).
Preference is given to candidates who have work experience in industry/business/armed forces/government, at a supervisory level
Those who are sponsored by industry/business houses or owns a family business are also eligible.
Candidates who have passed professional qualifications in chartered accountancy, cost accounting and company secretary ship can also apply.
Final year students are also eligible to apply.

AJ Institute of Management MBA Selection Criteria

AJIM accepts different exam scores for granting admission.
Applicants who are applying through Management Quota need to have a valid score in KMAT/CAT/MAT/CMAT.
While, those who are applying through Government Quota should have a valid KEA score.
The selected will be called for Counselling round.
In this round, they will be allotted a seat.
To confirm the admission, students have to pay the first installment of fees before the given deadline.

NOTE - If any student fails to pay the fee within the stipulated time then the admission authority will allot that seat to those who are on the waitlist.

The selection criteria differs for the company sponsored candidates. In case of such students the institute shortlist students on the basis of entrance exams core. The screened candidates will further be called for GD and PI rounds. Those who obtains aggregate merit in entrance exam score, GD and PI are finally selected for admission.

How to Apply for AJ Institute of Management MBA Course 2024

Applicants can fill the form in either of the following ways:

They can download the application form from the official website
Or, applicants can visit the campus and get the prospectus and application form.
The duly filled application form needs to be submitted at the institute's counter before the prescribed last date.

Mode of Payment - Students can pay application fees in cash or by sending a Demand Draft of INR 500 in favor of “A. J. Institute of Management” payable at Mangalore Also, they can send the application fees of INR 550 by post.

Ans. Yes, AJ Institute of Management accepts applications of company sponsored candidates. The selection of such candidates is based on the score in qualifying test followed by performance in GD and PI rounds.

Because when i compared fee structure was little less than yenepoya and when compared i felt like going to this clg and i had to choose for rajeev gandi University and heard someone telling it has more value so i got to choose this clg And i didn't even try going other clg i had sticked to one thing that my parents shouldn't feel heavy to pay my fees so i had to choose by comparing fee structure Admission process is i came through agents but they told they'll provide scholarship but they don't pick call after the admission

Step 1 : Attend the MAT/KMAT/CMAT entrance exams and acquire required Percentage of marks Step 2 : get the score card and directly visit the college and apply for the admission Step 3 : If eligible pay the admission fees of Rs. 5000. And get the admission letter. Step 3 : wait for the date of starting the classes
