A candidate who has either appears or is due to appear in the final examination of their qualifying postgraduate degree is eligible to apply for the course under the result awaited (RA) category. The candidates applying under this category will have to submit the attestation form duly certified by the Head of the Institute with a stamp from where the candidate is appearing for the qualifying degree. Failing to comply with this instruction will result in rejection of application.

The Question paper of BET (Biotechnology Eligibility Test) has two parts namely, Part-A which includes General aptitude & General Biotechnology and Part-B which includes General plus specialized branches in Biotechnology. Part-A of the question paper will have all compulsory 50 MCQ questions in General science, Mathematics, Chemistry, General aptitude, analytical, quantitative ability, general biotechnology etc. Part B will consist of 150 questions out of which only 50 questions need to be answered.
