GOOD COLLEGE

Admission:

IHM Shillong offers 4courses like craftsmanship, bakery, and for bachelor, B.Sc H&HA is the only course offered in this college. I choose B.Sc over diploma as because B.Sc has a better scope in compare to diploma.I admitted in this college in the year 2021 which now I'm basically a 1st year student.The campus is really good and the teachers here are really helpful and friendly.the infrastructure is also good.The hostel foods are heavenly good,i think it's the best institute that provides a good meal to the hosteller.Now,when it come to campusplacements ,the college basically has a good scores but then the packages are not that good,which start from 12k-35k range.So over-all 7/10.

Remarks:

Government affiliated hotel management colleges certificate by IGNOU. It is one of the best college in northern part of India and amoung top 15 in hotel management colleges in India (government ). Here students can learn course like bsc in hospitality and diploma also in subject like f&b or production and can get job in hotel. The placement was good (was good before covid 19 pandemic ) but they are trying to provide as much as compus placement to students. Student studying from this college can easily get job in 5 star hotel like Taj,Oberoi, Marriott international, Leela, accor hotel and many food outlets like dominos Pizza, KFC, MacDonald, burger King, barbecue nation etc
