Hostel Facilities:
Hostels are well maintained but not worth it. They are expensive. Rs.1,50,000 per annum on sharing with one another student. The cost doesn't include food. The wardens are not at all good. They use abusive and foul language with students (even girls). They are secure but like a jail for students. A lot of options available for PG facility with our without food and laundry. With food the rent is about Rs.8,000/month. A lot of students stay in 2/3 BHK flats on sharing basis with 5-7 other students. The cost including food per person turns out to be Rs.15000/head including transportation.
Campus Life:
Amity youth festival : 3-day annual festival organized by amity university Noida. It is an annual gathering of students from amity university, other amity universities and across the world. Amity university Noida has central library which is spread over 56,000 SQ.FT. The library has 2 lac books. Amity library has over 17,000 online journals. Amphitheater-style air- conditioner classrooms. The campus has a seminar hall for 200 students Air conditional. Beyond academics amity university provides us 1. Personality development 2. Military training 3. Foreign language 4. Grooming for interviews 5. Counselling 6. Values and ethics We have an Instagram page named amitynoida
Campus Life:
There are equal number of boys and girls in my department. The campus life is easy going and very diverse. On daily basis we get to see new people and meet them. People from different cultural background come together and it gives a chance to explore each other. There are various in house competitions on various occasions such as debates, poster making, best out of waste material on environment day.
