The  Indian Engineering College (TIEC) was established in the year 1984 by Selvam Educational and Charitable Trust and founder chairman S.A Raja. It is recognized by Govt. of Tamil Nadu and the approval of AICTE, New Delhi. It is affiliated to Anna University, Tirunelveli.
