St thomas Institute Trivandrum Reality of the college

Fees and Financial Aid:

The overall fees is about 75000rs I got it here through merit. Some of the students who's lower caste gets to study here by paying just 1000rs whole year. My fees was about 35000 per semester like that total 75k. But my friends got here through management and they only have 40000rs because they are Christians (Marthoma).

The fees are moderately low compared to other engineering colleges. However, the structure and campus are a bit old and not that technically advanced. However, they have all the required equipment in terms of the lab and other practical requirements.

When i joined the college they offered a scholarship for the students who got a good cgpa in the exams and later the scholarship was stopped by the college itself. The scholarship given by the college is limited beacaus of the fund raising activities

The college offers loan facility with the help of bankeres. They help in seeking banks for personal study loans which can be paid after getting jobs. The interest rate is so low and if a student need to study and has less money he can opt for this.
