Admission to the college is based on the UPTU exam, conducted annually in March and April, followed by a counseling process managed by UPTU. The college, a self-financed government institution affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University, starts admissions in August. The Electronics and Communication Engineering department is well-staffed with 7 lecturers and 3 lab assistants, many alumni of IITs and NITs. Headed by Mr. V.K. Ram, the faculty is approachable and highly knowledgeable.

Initially, the course fee was INR 80,000, with past college and hostel fees at INR 65,000 and INR 18,000, respectively. Currently, the college fee is INR 75,000, and the hostel fee is approximately INR 35,000, including a refundable security deposit of INR 4,000. Placement outcomes vary, with around 65% of students securing jobs by the 6th semester. Over 18 companies, including TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, visit annually, offering 100-200 placements.

The highest salary package is 18 lakh per annum, with an average of 2-3 lakh per annum. Off-campus placements can reach up to 12 lakh per annum. Internship opportunities are limited, with stipends ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 INR, and some internships offering up to 1.6 lakh per annum. Scholarships from the Uttar Pradesh government help with fees: general and OBC students receive about Rs 64,000, while SC/ST students get about Rs 94,000, covering full course fees plus an additional Rs 12,000-Rs 14,000.

For self-financed courses, tuition is approximately Rs 83,500 yearly, with additional fees totaling around Rs 96,000, excluding exam fees. Scholarships for BTech students can be up to Rs 60,000 annually, with the UP government covering up to Rs 50,000 for general and OBC students and about Rs 100,000 for SC/ST students.
