Sir Chhotu Ram Institute of Engineering and Technology (SCRIET) offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and B.Tech Lateral entry admission in various specializations viz. Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Chemical Engineering and Agricultural Engineering.
Admission to B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral entry offered by SCRIET is done on the basis of marks scored in JEE Main followed by UPTAC counselling.
- Candidates who have passed intermediate (PCM) and obtained 55% (Gen/OBC) and 50% SC/ST will be given direct admission in B.Tech as per merit.
- Candidates having 55% marks for Gen/OBC and 50% for SC/ST in Diploma/B.Sc. may also apply for direct admission through Lateral Entry in the 2nd Year of B.Tech.
- State Govt. has permitted 20% of total sanctioned seats to be filled up on the basis of JEE Main merit for admissions to B.Tech.
- 10% of them will be filled by U.P. domicile candidates through UP state merit using state reservation policy.
- 10% seats will be filled through All India Merit candidates without reservation.

Sir Chhotu Ram Institute of Engineering and Technology (SCRIET) MBA & MCA Admission 2023
In addition to B.Tech program, the college also offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) for a duration period of two years and three years respectively. Admission in MBA and MCA is done as per UPTAC counselling conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.
- Candidates who have cleared their UG (with Math in 10+2) and obtained 55% marks Gen/OBC and 50% marks SC/ST will be given direct admission in 1st year MCA
- Candidates who have passed B.Sc.(CS/IT) & BCA with 55% marks Gen/OBC and 50% marks SC/ST will be given admission in 2nd year of MCA.
- Candidates who have cleared their graduation and obtained 55% Gen/OBC and 50% SC/ST will be given direct admission in MBA
- State Govt. has also permitted 20% of total sanctioned seats of MBA to be filled on the basis of marks secured in CMAT (Common Management Admission Test)

Candidates seeking admission must register themselves at the institute by submitting duly filled-in application form along with the application fee.
- Candidates should log on to the official website of the college and download the application form.
- Next, the candidate should fill in the application form with all the relevant details and attach the necessary enclosures.
- An application fee of INR 1000 (for Gen/OBC) and INR 600 (for SC/ST) must be submitted through demand draft (DD).
- DD should be drawn in favor of "F. O., CCS University, Meerut" and payable at Meerut.
- Duly filled-in applications along with the required fee and necessary enclosures must be sent to the university office within the stipulated time.

I apply only for this college in my first attempt I get the chance to admission in that college.I prefer this college because this is the best and only engineering goverment college Meerut.I didn't get any rejection from any college.There are two ways to get admission in that college first simply apply registration form and upon your 12th class grade you form will be accepted or rejected.Second is to sit on JEE exam they will send you on counselling on this college.

This college is very nearest to my hometown and it takes very less fees as compared to other engineering colleges that's why I take this college.
I also get a chance of admission in Ramjas College Delhi but I take addmission in meerut as in Ramjas College there are very less hostel facilities doesn't have hostel for all students, and in sir chhotu ram institute we have 6 boys hostel and many hostel facilities
Admission process is good in my college they take all documents and I got admission within 4 hours and then after a week classes started

For admission, I gave the AKTU exam in which my rank was 4,983. And For admission, I gave the AKTU exam in which my rank was 4,983. But the rank of students studying with me was up to 60,000. So I can say that for admission here, it is important to just give the exam and pass it, not to get a rank.

1) first complete 12th with 60% marks and secure a rank in jee mains
2) basicaly this college have 3 type to admission first one jee mains score and register through aktu and fill this college at time of aktu counselling and 2nd type was they also conduct their entrance exam. and the 3rd was direct admission on the basis of 12th percentage
3) here are good reservation for sc st not so good in ews or obc
4) they conduct 2 sesional exam in every 1.5 month approx and for semester exam they give us arround 30 days or less to prepare
5) i think hostel food and direct admission is so easy in some branch so it should be improve

I took my admission through pmsss scholarship on the basis of 12th marks.
Anyone can take admission in the college directly. Some student take admission on the basis of upsee merit and some student get admission on the basis of of jee exam merit.
