Shekhawati Group of Institutions was established in 2002. The institute is located in the city of Sikar in the state of Rajasthan.
Shekhawati Group of Institutions presently offers B.Tech, B.A, B.Sc, BCA, BBA, LLB, BA LLB, B.Ed LLB, BNYS, B.Com program at the UG level and MBA, M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Com and M.A program at the PG level. The institute also offers Diploma courses in the discipline of Engineering, Hotel Management, Fashion Design, Elementary Education, Pharmacy and many more. The institute is affiliated to Rajasthan Technical University (RTU).
- The candidates applying for the UG and Diploma programs must have passed their Bachelor’s degree from the recognized university.
- Admission to the UG program is done on the basis of entrance exam scores and the Diploma program is done on the basis of merit.
- The candidates applying for the PG program are done on the basis of a Graduation degree.

Shekhawat Group of Institutions B.Tech Admission 2025
SIET Jaipur offers a B.Tech course in 8 specializations. The minimum qualification for admission to B.Tech program is at least 45% marks in 10+2 with PCM/PCB subjects.
Admissions to the B.Tech course are done on the basis of JEE Main scorecard. Applicants having a valid JEE Main scorecard have to participate in the admission process by applying for REAP. Candidates not having valid JEE Main score can also apply for REAP, however, admission preference will be given to JEE qualified candidates.

Key points:
- Percentage criteria in the qualifying examination are relaxed by 5% for SC/ST students.
- Except for the earmarked quota of seats for candidates of outside Rajasthan, REAP is open to the candidates of Rajasthan Domicile only.
Shekhawat Group of Institutions M.Tech & MBA Admission 2025
The institute offers an M.Tech course in 3 disciplines. Admission to the M.Tech course shall be provided to candidates possessing at least 55% (6.25 CGPA on 10 points scale and equivalent) in BE/B.Tech or equivalent course. All candidates having a valid GATE score or not having a valid GATE score but have eligible qualifications as given above are required to register for CAM. All the rounds of counseling (i.e. allotment of seats) will be done by RTU through CAM only.
Shekhawati also offers an MBA program in 7 disciplines. Admission to the MBA course is done on the basis of merit.

Ans. Yes, there is an age limit to apply for B.A.LL.B (Hons.) at SGI. Candidates must not be over 22 years of age on 1st July.
Ques. Can a candidate directly take admission in the 2nd year of the B.Tech course at SGI Sikar?
Ans. Yes, SGI allows lateral entry to B.Tech courses. Students who have passed BSc. (Maths) or Polytechnic are eligible for admission in B.Tech Lateral Entry.
Ques. Ques. Does SGISikar provide any kind of reservation of seats?
Ans. Yes, SGI provides reservations of seats for different categories. A horizontal reservation of 3% for candidates belonging to a person with a disability (PwD), 25% for the Women category and 3% for dependents of Defense Killed/Ex-servicemen/Gallantry award winners. 5% of total intake capacity over and above the sanctioned strength in each of the institutions is reserved for Kashmiri migrants.
