B.Tech/B.E. Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Must have passed the 10 + 2 Level Examination with at least 50% Marks from a recognized board in the Science stream for General Category students.
For OBC candidates, a relaxation of 5% is given in the eligibility criteria.
Candidates from MBC/DNC/SC/ST/SCA at least have a minimum score of 40%.
Students are further selected based on their board marks, and seats are allotted through TNEA counseling.
TNEA Counseling is a complete online process that includes registration, payments, choice filling, allotment, and confirmation. Students need to register with their college preferences through the official website.
TNEA consists of 3 rounds, where students are allocated seats based on their merit ranks.

Sethu Institute Of Technology M.E. Admission 2025

Sethu Institute of Technology offers M.E. Programs to students across specializations like CAD/CAM, Communication System, Computer Science & Engineering, Power Electronics & Drives, and structural engineering. The eligibility criteria and admission process are explained below:

Candidates must hold a Graduation degree in Engineering or Science with at least 50% in aggregate.
Students who have completed a diploma and have an AMIE qualification can also apply.
For selection, students must appear for TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) conducted by Anna University.
TANCET is primarily used to fill PG seats in M.E., MBA, M.Tech, and MCA programs at various colleges in Tamil Nadu, including those affiliated with Anna University and Madras University.
Performance in TANCET determines the selection of the students. Candidates who qualify are allocated seats in their choice of college through a centralized counseling process conducted by DTE (Director of Technical Education)
