I like the timetable choices and friendly relation
I like the canteens and food court which is good
I also like the hostel facilities and rooms

Dislikes

I dislike the flexi learning system it is not good
And I dislike the modules based course completion
I also dislikes the food from the hostel sometimes it is good sometimes it is very poor

So why I would choose this college na the environment is so good and the culturals are very well programed and very fun , so the admission process is two steps one is government quota and another is management quoata

OVERVIEW OF SAVEETHA ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Likes

They had the flexi learning method so that we can choose our subjects by ourselves
Then the environment was nice and the infrastructure was well organised
Then this flexi learning provide a greater understanding between our college mates because will sit with different departments people

Dislikes

At first they said it's a not a strict college but now their restrictions on haircut dresscode and all so bad
Then they doesn't had a basketball court
Even many times we had asked for that they never concerned about that

Admission:

I had chosen this because it has the only college that have flexi learning and the learning is advanced level because we handles everything with the laptops and mobiles then we never go college by taking books because we have everything in laptops these were the main concern

College facilities are good & environment is too good..
The quality of interaction is good with friends and campus life is I can say good when compared to other colleges
Flexibility of exams are good that we can manage to study

Dislikes

Teaching facilities should be improved and some are good
Regarding programming courses they should concentrate more
Placements are just okay.i want placement the best.that is worth of clg fee

I have applied vit and sastra But I not got AIML course I am interested in cse so I choosed saveetha I got seat but not in my interested stream So I have joined in Chennai I am from Andhra but I thought if other state means we can learn more Now we need to write entrance exam and based on that they will allot But when I am joining they saw MPC marks of inter and then given seat based on that

Life at Saveetha Engineering College

Likes

It have an system called flexi learn it provide to choose courses of our own
Because of it we can choose our faculty aswell as own timetable to make preferable college life
It has more than 9 labs for IT students can which gives more knowledge gaining for us.

Dislikes

The food is not upto the mark for hostel students( which I have heard from my hostel friends)
As I am in Tambaram I need to travel nearly 2 hours a day( it's only disadvantage for me)

The events are very good and well organised
The way of teaching in this collage is good

Dislikes

The campus are very big so need to walk very long
The washroom are not clean but they will clean it often
There is an very less amount of trees in this campus

The Modules For programming Subjects which was really helful in practing programming
The timetable has to decided by the students which was pretty convinient
the lab were pretty good for pratical exposure

Dislikes

The fee is too high for the subjects and way of teaching
Few lecturers were not upto the fee we pay they just read out the ppt
rude staff, most the times they make you roam for all the work w

I applied for VIT and got admitted to that college but i found this college convinient for it's curriculum. The subjects that were involved in computer science as well as others like electives were pretty interesting. The admission process for college is pretty easy 1. apply through the saveetha engineering website or you can directly contact them 2. visit the office and discuss about the fee and donation, now the donation depends on your 12th score, if it's above 9.5 gpa then no donation 3. another way is if you are from tamilnadu you can take the governement exam and come through councelling.

A Honest Student Perspective

Likes

The campus infrastructure is too good , including amenities and learning facilities
The placement service and the support provided for career growth was really amazing
The teaching methods was really good especially for the AI departments

Dislikes

I think the college should concentrate more on developing students technical skills as well

This college has good academic facilities and the learning faculties are really good.and the college infrastructure was very well compared to the other colleges.and also the admission process would be based on the marks obtained in the 10th and 12th the application will be eligible

Just my opinion About Sec

Likes

The timetable is customizable by student as per their capabilties and flexible
Infrastructure is really good..the overall design and structure of the college is gool
Extra focus towards those subjects that is important for placements

Dislikes

Wifi doesnt work almost all the time even mobile network doesnt get enough coverage to load even a single webpage
Exam schedules are quite packed ..there is also cases where you could have 2 exam on the same day..like one in morning and another in afternoon..there might not be gaps in between exam dates
Quite strict on dress, grooming and attendance policy leading to suspension, fines , even letter to the principal

Admission:

I chose Saveetha Engineering College as i liked tha fact it is technology dependant and has a well structured Ai Ds curriculum covering all aspects. It also has tie ups with developing inductries allowed the students to get more opportunities. The labs are just great with a lot of facilities. There also events and clubs that peaked my interest to join over here

MmI applied through counselling and I got good cutoff also which really helped me to get to this college. The admission process is bit annoying and make me to wait for so long and document verification is also made me on nerves
