In 2017, entry to this college was achieved through the UPSEE Entrance Examination after not qualifying in AIPMT and UPCPMT. The faculty consists of about 25 to 30 lecturers per course, all with Master's or PhD degrees, and many have industry experience. They are generally knowledgeable, approachable, and committed to providing quality education, although the mechanical department has received some criticism. The college charges approximately 2 lakh INR per year in fees, which is considered high relative to other leading institutions.

Despite this, the college has a strong placement record, with more than 50 companies visiting annually, including top law and tech firms, offering the highest salary package of 12 LPA and a 90% placement rate. Placement preparation begins from the 3rd year, focusing on aptitude and programming skills.
