For electrical branch they provide placement support like In Power plant like Jindal,Tata,Odisha power.For 60 percent student they provide good opportunities.I got Internship through OPTCL.They give me 10000 per month.

Experience and LIfe at SMIT

Placement Experience:

Our placement cell is very good.They prvide placemnt support in very good companies like TCS ,Infosys.They also provide free training for placement.I am preparing for GATE exam which helps me to get jobs in PSU sector.

Placement Experience:

There is placement cell available in college but not provide opportunities to MNC companies.some time some company come but not provide good salary.my times indian army come for placement and two and three Telecom company also come.

Job placement was pretty hard at those times as not exposure to the IT. But placement & training faculty had good touch & support the students to place in some private industries (small & medium) .
