The institute offers BE and Diploma programs in Engineering at the undergraduate level for a duration of 4 years and 3 years respectively. Admission to BE is conducted on the basis of the results of the Pre-engineering test or JEE Main or 10+2 basis. All those who fulfill the eligibility criteria will have to go through counselling for seat allotment. For admission to diploma courses, the student must have passed 10+2.
It also has engineering degree courses at the postgraduate level, including MBA and MCA programs. The M. Tech programs have a capacity of 18 seats per specialization and 60 seats each for MBA and MCA.
Admission to M.Tech is done on the basis of GATE Score through counselling. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

3.1 Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Admission to MBA is done on the merit in MET through online counselling. To be eligible, the candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. For MCA, the candidate must have completed graduation with mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 or graduation level.
Candidates applying for the vacant seats after counselling must fill the online registration form issued by SAM College of Engineering & Technology by visiting the institute website. The registration fees for the vacant seats must be paid through online payment modes such as credit/ debit card, internet banking, etc.
