SAL Institute of Technology and Engineering Research Ahmedabad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I know many senior students and i have asked them to tell about placements and i got some answer that almost 60% students are placed from their batch and this percentage always the same. Byju's, tcs and some other companies are comes to our college.

I was interested in this course. In our department, there are 7 faculty for the 64 students on our campus. The teaching methods of all faculties are good. There are 8 Semesters, each Semester has a mid-term and end-term exam.

The students are eligible from the 7th semester for the college placements and they can appear for the placements from the 7th semester of their engineering course. The lowest package is 400000 and the max package is up to 900000 INR.

The college provides placements. I think the average package is around 4 lakh per Annum and Highest would be around 10 lakh per annum. I was thinking about going to Mtech after the completion of the 4-year program.

our college placement starts around after the finishing of your 7th semester then many companies are coming to our college like Wipro, and Infosys, by us but they provide very less packages around 3 - 7..5 LPA. which is very less. The highest package offered in 2022 is 7.5 LPA. which is offered by software engineers. In my college, some students go for master's and some are goes for placements. If I say on the bases of percentage around 70% percent of students get the placements. But in my case, I want to go for the Gate exam to study in the top 5 IIT. which doesn't need to explain anything about IITs.

In the future, there is a lot of scope in the IT field so that's why I choose this course and also am interested in coding. The college faculty is good all the professors have at least 12 to 15 years of experience, faculty is very supportive and helpful. Teaching methods are good but not great, many professors did PhD in their field. There is 1 mid examination in each semester and at the end of the semester their final exam i.e. GTU examination And gtu exams are hard if u prepared well enough then it is easy to pass also. Mid-examination passing marks are 12 out of 30 and GTU examination passing marks is 30 out of 70.

From the fifth semester, we got our internship from very reputed companies. We got merchant companies like TCS, INFOSYS, Microvista, Coditas, Maruti, Argusoft, Explorer, etc. We got a maximum package of 58 lakh per annum.

Most of Gujarat colleges and GTU Universities like Sal Institute of Technology and Engineering Research provide placements in the 7th semester, and the 8th semester was an Internship. 20 to 40% of students get placements.
